To research possibility of learning colloquial English during a monthSageit Ayim and Kydyrbek Marzhan 10th grade “Zhetysu secondary school” Teachers: Tulebaeva A.K. and Shoybekova A.B. Hypothesis: Learning English for a short period is one of the most important problem in modern societyActuality: Nowadays it is not just in fashion but everybody needs to go with the time and to be developed on the same level with others. Today English speaking countries are getting more and more and to be the member of these countries our Republic gives a big attention to an English language. You can see that at schools because the hours of English lessons had been changed in primary schools from 1 to 2 hours a week.In given work we consider differences in learning language during a month between working adults, training students and pupils. As you know adults and students have not much time for learning English, because they need to know it quickly and without any time problems for work.We wanted to compare and know who will be quicker and better in learning English for a short period of time. The study was conducted in 2 stages: the first we selected 1 pupil weakly knowing English and 1 student and 1adult with the same knowledge of English. On the second stage we offered to answer teacher`s questions to know their level. As a result of studying we found out that the pupil and the student learn English better than the adult.The first: pupils have time to do their home work when they are free. The second students have a good memory to learn new words immediately during the lesson. Also we tried to provide lessons 3 times then 4 times and decided to have them every day. The practice has shown the most efficient is a method of daily learning English. In this project for learning English we had chosen books “Family and friends” by Oxford University pressed (1st level). Because we needed not only to know grammar but the main part was to learn speaking English for a month Research methods: As the result of our research we can certainly prove that learning English for a month is possible for students and pupils. Because they have a good memory and a big interest. And what about adults? They are able to learn colloquial English for a month but it is difficult work for them. They must work and at the same time they have to study. The result of our research with adults was great because they tried to learn almost all new words and did their home tasks.If they revise the words at every lesson they will be able to remember the words. Conclusion: The conclusion of the research serves that we had reached our aim. As the result now these people can demonstrate their colloquial English in a 1 month. But students and pupils think and speak English quicker than adults do.
