«English-speaking countries tour»
Цель: поддержать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка;
расширить кругозор детей об англоязычных странах.
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, ноутбук, презентация по теме «Англоязычные страны».
Ход мероприятия:
(Слайд №1) Звук самолёта.
На сцену выходят учащиеся с чемоданами (и прочими вещами) – слышится речь на английском между собой.
1) -Did you take your sunglasses?
-Yeah, I did!
2) Лай собачки
- Be quiet, my puppy! (гладит собачку)
Ведущий – стюардесса: -Good afternoon, dear friends!(слайд № 2) Welcome to our plane board of Gymnasium Airlines. (слайд №3 – самолёт изнутри) Take your seats, please! Let me introduce myself. My name is Albina. I’ll be your stewardess and your guide today. You have a chance to make a tour to English-speaking countries: the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. Now enjoy the flight! But first of all, let me introduce you with our board’s rules:

1. Keep your seat belts fasten all the time.
2. Take part in our competitions, games and singing.
3. Don’t interrupt each other.
4. First listen and then speak.

1-ый пассажир: I know the poem about this country.
I’ve got this feeling that it’s going to be a wonderful day!
The sun in the clouds has a smile on its face.
And its shining a salute to the American race,
Oh, boy, it’s swell to say “Good morning, USA!
Ведущий: Look at the screen, please. Let’s learn a little about this country. (видео №1)
Ведущий: Our American friends have prepared an amazing dance, called “Country”. (учащиеся 5 кл. – танец «Кантри»- видео №2)

2-ой пассажир: (слайд №12) I see Big Ben! Wow, we are in Great Britain.
3-ий пассажир (расстроенно): It’s raining cats and dogs. (слайд№13)
4-ый пассажир (просыпается): Where? Cats and dogs?5-ый пассажир (гладит собачку): I love cats and dogs!
1-ый пассажир: Don’t you know that in Britain it rains so heavily, that’s why they say “It’s raining cats and dogs”. ( слайд №14- ливень)
6-ой пассажир: Rain falls in spring,
Rain falls in summer,
Rain falls in autumn
And even in winter!

Ведущий: My dear friends! Welcome to Canada! (слайд №27 –флаг Канады) Here we are going to meet with the resident of Canada. Her name is Alina. She lives in Vancouver, Canada. Now we try to connect with her on Skype and she tells us some interesting information about herself and the life in Canada.
Ведущий (на связь выходит Алина) : Hello! How are you? We are glad to see you. Alina, can you tell us about yourself, please? (Алина рассказывает о себе). My friends, let’s ask questions to Alina.
