ЗАЛОГэто грамматическая категория, обозначающая отношение действия к субъекту (то есть подлежащему) и объекту (то есть дополнению). Существует два вида залога:Действительный — английское название этой грамматической категории: active voiceСтрадательный — passive voice Действительный залог используется для того, чтобы описать, что делает подлежащее. Страдательный залог используется для того, чтоб описать, что происходит с подлежащим. Другими словами, подлежащим в active voice является активный персонаж, который сам совершает действие.Папа строит дом. My father build a house.Подлежащим в passive voice является пассивный персонаж, на который направлено действие. Дом строится папой. The house is built by father. Чаще всего мы употребляем страдательный залог, когда:а) неизвестно,б) не важно, кто является причиной действия.В магазинах довольно часто крадут деньги (мы не знаем, кто это делает). Money is stolen in the shops quite often.Комнаты в этом отеле убирают каждый день (нам не важно, кто это делает). Rooms in this hotels are cleaned every day. Когда мы хотим сказать, ЧТО или КТО является причиной действия, в английском языке используется предлог by:Воздух в городе загрязняется выхлопными газами автомобилей. The air in town is polluted by exhaust gas.Когда мы хотим сказать, ЧТО является орудием действия, в английском языке используют предлог with:Хлеб обычно режут ножом.
