Детские сады в англии

Nurseries of the England Nurseries in England are pretty much differs from the rest ordinary nurseries: by payment level; by educational system and by the daily routine. For instance, average monthly payment which parents pay for their children who is visiting nursery in England could be about 850-900 pounds. This is inexpensive even for England. Nurseries give children much more in contrast to child-minder. There are some free municipal nurseries in England, but not much. It’s very difficult to register. These nurseries are allowed for children since 3 years old and moreover only 15 hours of attendance per week are for free. There are two types of private nurseries or ‘Nursery School’ as they are called in England: ones with day-nursery groups which are allowed for children since 3-months old; and the rest are standard ones – they are allowed for children since 2 years old for attendance. The first group is much more popular among working mothers because according to English legislation paid maternity leave ends when child is 3-months old, and hence mothers has let their children to visit nursery so that not to lose their working place. Children under 2-3 years old are allowed to use nappies in nursery – Englishmen do not hurry their children for chamber-pot usage. According to the daily routine there are 2 sessions in English nurseries: morning session (approximately since 9 am till 12 am) and afternoon (since 1 pm till 4 pm). Sleep time is set between the sessions for the children under 2 years old; for the upwards sleep time is not set, but allowed at will – in case child doesn’t want to sleep he or she can play. Nobody obliges children to sleep. Upward groups are not even equipped by cots. There are about 8-15 children on average in the group. One governess supervises 2-3 children in the groups where children are 1.5-2 years old and downwards; and one governess for 5-8 children in the groups of 3 years old children and upwards. With respect to nutrition routine it depends on the particular nursery and payment amounts: some nurseries are implied for parents to bring food for their children; children are having only snacks there – cookies, fruits, chocolate, milk, juice; some nurseries are supplied with full three meals a day plus sweets and fruits. Lifetime in nursery is really rich and interesting – children are drawing, sculpting (including loam sculpture), making hand-made articles, having excursions and other outings. Much time is devoted to educational activities: eldest children are learning alphabet, doing simple sums, trying to write letters; babies are having some initial studies. Essentially nurseries are finished by 3 years age; children of 4 years old and upwards go to ‘Reception’ which is obligatory for attendance pre-school classes. The British come to school very early: according to English law children should start learning at school from the term next to their 5th birthday.
