Unite 6. Lesson 4, c примененением дополнительного материала. Тип урока: урок повторения и обобщения знаний Вид: урок игра Цель урока: Обобщить лексико –грамматические знания и умения учащихся по теме «Праздники Британии». Задачи: 1.Образовательная: Развивать кругозор учащихся; их знания о традициях и обычаях англоговорящих стран. Активизация страноведческих знаний. 2. Воспитательная: Формировать у учащихся уважение к традициям и праздникам народа страны изучаемого языка. 3. Развивающая: Развивать память, мышление, языковую догадку, умение работать в разных режимах. 4. Практические: а. Обобщение изученного лексико –грамматического материала по теме «Праздники Британии» б. Тренировка навыков монологической речи в. Развитие аудитивных, грамматических, лексических и орфографических навыков. с. совершенствование навыков выразительного рассказывания стихотворений. е. Тренировать в сканированном чтении. Оснащение урока: видеопроектор, экран, компьютер, презентация, задания для самостоятельной работы.  План урока: Начальный этап I. It’s national holiday of Ireland. 2 There are a lot of legends about St. Patrick in Ireland. St. Patrick helped to built 500 cathedrals and united the islanders in one faith. He rid the snakes from the island with his shillelagh. 3 The symbols of this holiday are the shamrock, the leprechaun, the rainbow, the pot of gold. 4 If you want to be lucky on St Patrick’s Day follow this advice: 1.Find a four-leaf shamrock 2.Wear green. 3.Kiss the Blarney stone. 4.Catch a Leprechaun if you сan. щипать 3 One of the Irish traditions is to pinch anyone who is not wearing green on St Patrick’s Day. Homework № 2 1 The symbol of Halloween is Pumpkin. On the 31 st of October ghosts and witches are free and you can expect to meet them. Find false sentences in the text Bonfire Night Bonfire Night is on the seventh of November. It’s very interesting night for English children. On that evening they make bonfires and have fireworks. Some days before Bonfire night they make pumpkin. They make it of chocolate and milk and then put it on the table and old gloves on the sticks that are his hands. When the bonfire is ready children or their parents put the guy on the bonfire and light it. They have carols near the guy and wear green. Halloween It’s a holiday for fathers and mothers in Great Britain. They celebrate it on the17th of March. It’s in winter. They dressed in costumes knock on their neighbours’ doors and ask sweets. If they give them a treat, they go away. If they don’t, they play a trick on them. The symbols of this holiday are Bunny and eggs. People usually give each others presents, sweets and flowers on that day. XII.
