Тема: We are going to visit London.
(Мы собираемся посетить Лондон.)
Цели:
учебная – активизировать лексику по теме «Лондон», развивать умения и навыки по аудированию говорению, развивать умения работать с раздаточным материалом;

развивающая – развивать познавательный интерес к стране изучаемого языка, социо-культурные компетенции, формировать устойчивую мотивацию к изучению английского языка, усилить эмоциональный аспект преподавания;

воспитательная – воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре страны изучаемого языка и собственных традиций.

Оснащение: компьютер, проектор, карта Лондона, логико-синтаксическая схема (ЛСС), карточки с заданием для конкурса зашифрованных слов.















План урока:
Организационный момент (1 мин.).
Речевая зарядка (1 мин.).
Основная часть урока:
автобусная экскурсия от здания Парламента до Тауэрского моста (15 мин.);
викторина «London’s sights» (5 мин.);
конкурс зашифрованных слов (5 мин.);
конкурс пословиц (3 мин.);
работа с ЛСС (6 мин).
Заключительный этап:
домашнее задание (2 мин.);
подведение итогов урока, оценка учащихся (2 мин.).

Ход урока.
(слайд 1)
Teacher (учитель): They say: «The world is a book and those who don’t travel read only a page» (слайд 2). Today we have a sightseeing tour on a double-decker bus (слайд3). Our guides will help us to learn a lot of new things.
The task of the tourists is to appraise the work of the guides, to listen to their explanations and ask questions of them.

Compere (ведущий): London is one of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe (показать на карте) (слайд 4). A sightseeing tour on a bus is one of the best ways to see London today. There are many places of interest in London. They are the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tate Gallery, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum (слайд 5). We start our trip at The Houses of Parliament (слайд 6).
