My Independent Kazakhstan
Addressing to the participants of the Ball, the Head of State has noted that the forthcoming year 2016 will be a year of celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.
"The whole country will work as a single whole to worthily welcome the great holiday. Over the years of sovereignty we have built quite a new country. This is a result of all Kazakhstanis' efforts. I would like to thank our multi-ethnic and multi-faith people for joint work," the President of Kazakhstan has said. Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated everyone on Happy New Year and wished well-being, peace and harmony to every home.
Excluding likes to listen to their homeland, did not say about the place of birth of poets and writers have been on the earth. Holy people! More than one hundred nationalities live in our country. Making its way to the next millennium, Kazakhstan will rest not on military power but on the authority which we hope to obtain through creation of society of political, economic and spiritual freedoms based on internal unity and prosperity of its citizens. Speaking of the future of Kazakhstan in this changing world, it is necessary to mention such global problem as ecology. We in Kazakhstan know about ecological disaster first hand: the irreversible destruction of the Aral Sea, the same threat over the Lake of Balhash, sad consequences of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test range – all these painful wounds left by man on our native land, a poisoned heritage for our descendants, severe warning to all peoples on Earth.
The experience of solution of national problems in Kazakhstan where more than one hundred nationalities are numbered, shows that harmonization of interethnic relations is not illusion but an aim which may be achieved. All nationalities of our Republic have the opportunity for free cultural development on the basis of national cultural centers, national media and education in their native language. We are open for international cooperation in this delicate sphere that until some time ago had been closed to foreign partners. In this world we have the only Motherland , Kazakhstan. And our sacred duty is to assert and consolidate our independence , to multiply the might and wealth of our State and serve our Motherland honestly and faithfully. For this purpose every citizen of our country must realize his tremendous historic responsibility for preserving the unity of our land and people, and interethnic peace and accord. As President of the Republic, at one with my people, I am fully aware of this responsibility and share it. Washington supports the independence of Kazakh considering its security to be important for security in Europe and Asia. The White House is ready to examine the possibility of join programmes in a sphere of non- proliferation of nuclear arms and contracts between armed forces of both countries. Actually, today we posses what many generations our ancestors have dreamed about. The national sovereignty of Kazakhstan was proclaimed at the session of Supreme Council and sealed by the corresponding law. We have our own national emblem, flag and anthem. A lot was done before this. One can say with certainty that such things has never occurred in our history. Since now we defined ourselves our external and domestic policy. The Republic of Kazakhstan has become a member of nearly all international organizations starting from the United Nations. Diplomatic relations were established with more than 120 countries of the world. Few nations knew our republic before, now it is recognized by many mager powers as an equal partner.
Kazakhstan is our Motherland. This idea contains a lot of meanings. And the duty of every citizen, regardless of his nationality, to keep the atmosphere of friendship and concord in our common house. We should keep in mind that love of native land is not love of paternal home but deep respect to those people have built it in hard times. Nobody could exceed our mothers and fathers, veterans of war and labour in their commitment to the Motherland. All learning the best experience of world civilization, everyone should always remember of his root, native land. The President Nursultan Nazarbayev produced a favourable impression on foreign leaders and businessmen owing his strong power. His vast oil-rich country stretching from the Caspian Sea to the Chinese borders has become Western favourite in Central Asia. Nazarbayev`s advocates characterize him as far- sighted or rough. Compared with political confusion in Russia where president and parliament are at odds and bureaucracy spends much of its time sabotaging reform, Kazakhstan is a most straightforward place to do business. As the second largest oil producer in the former Sovet Union, Kazakhstan has lured many of the world`s biggest companies to open up offices in Almaty, the capital. Among the biggest projects are development with Chevron Corp of the vast Tengiz oil field, and an agreement signed on December with seven western companies, including BP, British Gas and Shell, to explore the Caspian Sea shelf. Mr. Nazarbayev, 54 year old former engineer who rose through the ranks of the Communist party, has a clear vision for the country. He sees development more in terms of Asian models, with preference given to economic development over political freedom. The Republic of Kazakhstan proclaims to be a democratic, secular, legal and social state highest values are people, their lives, rights and freedom. The basic principles of the Republic are social consent and political stability, economic development for good of all people, Kazakhstan patriotism, solving of the most important national issues through democratic measures including voting at the republican referendum or in the Parliament. The republic of Kazakhstan is a unitary state with presidential form of the government. The application of the sovereignty of the Republic spreads on the whole national territory. The State secures that its territory`s integrity, and it is inviolable and unassailable. The lessons of history are important for us not only for appraisal of the passed way but also for choosing the right points on the way to the future! The victory of the Great Patriotic War caused a large moral enthusiasm among people, changed the character of the national economy, science and culture. If take full- scale consideration of social, economic and political development of Kazakhstan for last 50 years, we should understand that the war having caused incalculable troubles, at the same time promoted absolutely new processes in the Soviet republics, dramatically changed the fortunes of nations. We live in the multiethnic country. The world experience shows that the prime problem of the countries with such demography is keeping civil peace and interethnic concord. Speaking of the results of the last war, we should keep in mind that it was caused by Nazism. The clique of political adventures came to power in Germany and threw its people into flame of the war which caused incalculable sufferings of other nations. This adventure was defeated. The misanthropic policy will always sustain a defeat. At every opportunity I try to persuade every Kazakhstan that our main treasure during the last period of time is social stability, lack of interethnic discord and bloodshed on this ground. My insistence is explained by the fact that when war and death come through the doors of house, anything would lose its value and sense-prosperity and small confusions, luxury and well-being, personal position in society etc. War takes the main value – human life which is truly invaluable, makes people leave their native lands and turns them into refugees.
The Kazak people, having passed through severe trials, have a rich and difficult history. It should help all nations in Kazakhstan to understand better the roots of our unity and avoid any historical rebukes because looking back to history we should foresee the future. The crucial tasks laid on our generation-to preserve the heritage of ancestors, to strengthen restored sovereignty and to pass to an absolutely new level corresponding with the demands of the civilized world community. All of us should be filled with the sense of duty as to the future of our country.lt means that we, remembering on the past, should be aimed to the future, to live in peace and concord with other nations, to respect their culture and traditions. As Kazak proverb says, “ Bereke basy- birlikte” - “ Unity of power means to be on the eve of happiness”
The real brotherhood is unity. Spiritual relationships of peoples shared gladness and sorrow strengthening our assurances of coming days. As Kazak proverb says, Ambassador makes nations closer, … We can not conserve an deep satisfaction that Abay, having expressed noble and open soul of our people so brightly, became today a brilliant ambassador of spiritual unity calling nations of Earth to peace and concord. A devoted son glorifies his native country, and grateful country have do this for her son The special conditions makes to seek for unusual actions. It requires great talents and will. That’s why permanently restless humanity is aimed at reaching new heights during its endless spiritual struggle, seeks and pays highest respect to brave man of wisdom and the pioneers able to define a clear aim and right way in darkness. If you do not have leading idea you will never get anything. You will never get honour and dignity in your soul without such idea. Man devoid of this features will never do much good for other people and himself. The luck of such features makes national consciosness to be senseless. You will never find the way to development and will have to drag along the path of oblivion stuned with insignificant problems of dull life. The leader chosen by providence with prophetic gift, purity of thoughts, lions fearlessness is required in order to take an nation and society from the deadlock. Abay possessed exactly these features together with striking intellect and powerful spirit which allowed him to stand over the time and take place among selected spiritual knights of humanity. It is impossible to comprehend the deep sense of his creative heritage without also understanding his epoch. Abay said, we have no two features our anscestor had. Long time ago there were men called el basy head of nation and top basy- head of community. They solved conflicts, governed the society… People submitted to an elected ruler and tired to support him, keeping his demerits and glorifying his merits… Proceeding from this, rulers tired not to exceed the limits of sense. They had to care for people who were their brothers and with whom they shared common property.
And the last one – people keep and value their unity as a sacred thing. If someone called for help common ancestors, al others rushed to help him, forgetting any offence or discord, made concessions to each other. The proverbs says, “Brothers many quarrel but never renounce each other”, and “ when six persons quarrel they will lose everything they have, if four persons are in harmony it means “ Got blessed them”. Abay considered that man might be happy only when other people share his intentions and efforts kindness will inspire everyone. Abay said,” Friendship calls to friendship”. That’s why Abay national unity, integrity and called to mutual understanding, peace and consent. The nation live in prosperity should keep peace and confidence with its neighbours. This is one of the factors called to determine the destiny of nation in present times.”
Treasures of the country turned to the national spirit of independence, economy, politics, culture, development and prosperity, in a few years, we have achieved an incredibly speaks trust. The most important thing is the status of the state language and the spirit of our ancestors was the breakthrough, removing the sacred imperative lost, have to strengthen the platform of direction at the right time.
Straight high heaven eagle wings spread, isn`t worry to fly . The country is quiet, people are happy. Acts of terrorism in some other countries, we are far from the land of our generation, people, no matter how massive - without luck. It is understand that the future of Kazakhstan has horizons.
            And Kazakhstan has liked heaven highest. But President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people who saw the light of day, the world of the sky : "Blades always friendly, warm, the most important thing is eternal."
Millet which is closer to the moment turn out to be a jack-school mountain of gold continues to set clear goals and objectives. While Kazakh people, the President will open the door to a new life and confidence while stepping into the first steps!
Now the XXI century - a century of new generation, which will become the backbone of the young state. We should pay great attention to study, to try to acquire maximum knowledge. The state of the new Millennium need educated and active people. From us will depend the future of the state. “Kazakhstan necessary intellectual revolution that will awaken and realize the potential of our nation,” says N. A. Nazarbayev. Personally I will try to learn, to work for the benefit of the state, to contribute to the development of my country, the Republic of Kazakhstan. My Independent Kazakhstan - this is my home, my native land!
