Цели урока:
Обучающая:
формировать полноту, осознанность, системность, гибкость, глубину, оперативность, прочность знаний;
формировать знания на уровнях: восприятие - осмысление – применение;
совершенствовать речевые навыки: умение вести беседу по проблеме в парах, умение понимать на слух высказывания по теме, умение найти информацию в прочитанном тексте;
Развивающая:
формировать интерес к предмету;
формировать мотивацию к дальнейшему изучению английского языка;
учить анализировать, выделять главное, сравнивать, строить аналогии, обобщать и систематизировать;
развивать память, внимание;
Воспитывающая:
воспитывать культуру общения на английском языке;
прививать любовь и уважение к культурному наследию, традициям и народу страны изучаемого языка;
научить учащихся устанавливать дружеские отношения со сверстниками из англоговорящих стран.
Задачи урока:
совершенствование произносительных навыков;
обогащение и усложнение словарного запаса;
обучение поисковому чтению;
закрепление лексики по теме “Путешествие в страну изучаемого языка”;
обобщение грамматического материала “Степени сравнения прилагательных”;
формирование навыков работы с тестовыми заданиями на компьютере;
совершенствование речевых умений:
умения вести беседу по проблеме в диалогической форме;
умения понимать на слух высказывания по теме.
Оборудование: компьютеры, мультимедийный проектор, экран, магнитофон, кассета №1, карта Лондона, карта Великобритании.

I. Начало урока.1. Приветствие. (T.–Cl.)Teacher: Good morning, dear friends!
+ Good morning, our teacher!
Teacher: I’m glad to meet you. How are you?
+ We are fine, thank you. And how are you?
Teacher: I’m fine too, thanks.
Today we are having an unusual lesson: some guests are present at our lesson.
Greet them, please.
+ Good morning, dear guests! We are glad to meet you.
Teacher: Sit down, please.
2. Объявление задач урока.
Teacher: Now, let’s begin our lesson. As you know, the theme of our lesson is
“Let’s plan a trip to England”.
And to make our trip to England easier we are to:
– discuss why we want to make a trip to England;
– learn more about places of interest of London;
– master our English by reading the text and answering the questions:
“How can we get to England?” “How long will it take us to get to England?”– revise grammar (Degrees of comparison of English adjectives);
– do a test;
– make up dialogues.
And also there will be a pleasant surprise for you during the lesson: two girls from Great Britain are going to visit us and talk to you.

Teacher: And now, as usual we start on the conversation with the pupil on duty.
Well, who is on duty today?

Teacher: So to speak to English people we have to master our pronunciation of English sounds too. That’s why let’s do phonetic exercises now.
