Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi. Kuindzhi is a famous Russia painter. He was born in Mariupol. The directions in his creativity are romanticism and realism. I’ve chosen the painting "Dnieper in the Morning" as it attracted me its tranquility, harmony and silence, opening the beauty of the nature. "Dnieper in the Morning" is painted in the modest colours, without bright lighting effects. We see foggy awakening of the great Dnieper River. The surface of the river is in soft, white dairy tones. In the foreground there is green steppe vegetation on the hill, with the sticking-out burdock bush. Nevertheless, all this together makes surprising impression of breadth and scope. The picture attracts by a quiet stateliness, internal power, a mighty force of nature. Surprisingly thin combination of pure golden-pink, purple, silver and greenish-gray tones allows to transfer a charm of the blossoming herbs, endless distances, early steppe morning. The Dnieper in the morning is the beginning of searches of Kuindzhi’s of the area full of light and air, changeable conditions of nature.
