Место урока: Вводный урок по теме «Становление характера»
Цель урока: актуализировать личностный смысл учащихся к изучению темы.
Задачи урока:
создать условия для отработки навыков анализа языкового материала;
содействовать формированию самостоятельной познавательной деятельности;
содействовать развитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка;
Планируемые результаты:
1) целостное представление изучения новой темы;
2) личностная заинтересованность в изучении темы;
3) более высокий уровень сформированности общеучебных умений.

Ход урока.
Организационный момент.
T: Morning everybody. Pleased to see all of you in a good spirit and mood at our lesson today. It goes without saying you’re ready to master your English language together with me just now, aren’t you?
S1: Of course, we are ready to master our English language just now
T: You know quite well what we spoke about at our previous lessons. I’d like you to remind some main topics of our discussion.
S2: As far as I remember we have spoken about family and family relationship.
S3: We got to know who members of the family are.
S4: Besides, we got acquainted with the most famous British idioms about families and read the texts on the topic .S5: Some lessons ago we spoke about the present tenses.
S6: And we have also discussed appearance and some problems with it.
T: Absolutely. I am sure that you’re really experts in a lot of things dealing with family issues, aren’t you?... Well, I am of the same opinion.

T: So, the basic topic of our lesson today is…

T: According to our theme and the material which is given at the page today we’ll try to do our best to enlarge your outlook (knowledge) in the field of planning and preplanning the results. That’s why we shall

- find the page numbers for rubrics;
- get some information about the topics for discussions and formulate the attitude towards them;
- discuss our own view-point on Module 2.

P: It`s obvious, they are closely connected as a character and behavior of a person are formed in everyday situations and family plays an inseparable role in this process.
T: That`s exactly I would say myself. So,

T: In this module we will learn about stressfulsituations, peer pressure, how to express negative
feelings, how to sympathize, encourage and persuade. Now pay attention to the pictures.
