Цели:
-познакомить учащихся с обычаями и традициями праздников Англии и США.
-развивать навыки аудирования с общим пониманием услышанного;
-отработать лексику по теме «Праздники»;
-научить составлять короткие рассказы по теме;
-воспитывать толерантное отношение к чужой культуре.
Ход урока
I. Warming up.
Teacher. Dear friends !Today we are going to speak about holidays of British and American people. Some of them are public holidays, some of them are not. What public holidays do you know? What holidays are celebrated in Kazakhstan? What is the most traditional holiday?
Students: New year ….. etc.
Teacher :Thank you!But today I am going to speak about some other holidays for about 2 min and give you some more information about other holidays. Then I’ll stop and you will tell me the information you’he learned. You can see more words that will help you when you answer.
II. Reading.
Teacher reads the text and pupils make sentences.
