Children’s stories. Pupil’s answer: (example)
London – is the capital of Great Britain and one of the oldest British cities. It’s a mixture of old and new buildings and there are many places of interest to visit: museums, art galleries, theatres, famous squares, streets and parks. There are many historical buildings: Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London. I would like to visit all these sights to know a lot about London.
But I think the most interesting place is Westminster. First, I would like to see Big Ben. It’s the name of the clock and the bell of the Clock Tower. The famous clock stands near the Houses of Parliament. The Houses of Parliament is the seat of the British Parliament. The Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament is a symbol of Great Britain.
Second, I would like to visit famous Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar Square is the centre of London. In the middle of Trafalgar Square stands a tall column.Trafalgar and Square is very beautiful.
There are many other places of interest to see in London. I want to visit them a lot because I am interested in London’s sights
Teacher: Do you like children’s stories? Who is the best teller? Children estimate stories, find out some mistakes and define their positions to the answers.
III. Conclusion
Teacher: What did we do today?
Children: We played, wrote the words, acted out the dialogues, told the stories.
