Тема: «Let's celebrate»
Тип занятия: комбинированный урок.
Цели:
•обобщить и закрепить лексический материал по теме;
•закрепить грамматические формы настоящего продолженного времени.
Задачи урока:
•формировать лексические умения и навыки в устной речи (умение рассказывать о праздниках, используя настоящее простое время);
•формировать грамматические навыки на материале настоящего продолженного времени;
•отработать навыки произношения;
•развивать владение всеми видами речевой деятельности (аудирование, говорение, чтение);
•развивать воображения и умения моделировать ситуацию общения;
•воспитывать уважение к традициям и обычаям, как части культуры разных стран мира;
•прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку.
Оборудование: проектор, картинки по теме « Праздники», презентация, раздаточный материал, мяч, учебник.ХОД УРОКА
I.Oрг момент . Hello, everybody. How are you? I am fine, thanks. Who is on duty today? Please, come to the blackboard and ask questions. (Беседа дежурного с учащимися)
What date is it today?

Фонетическая зарядка: Fat Pat had a fat cat, Pat's fat cat sat at Pat's hat.

IV. Формирование новых понятий. Самоопределение к теме. Определение темы. Дети определяют тему So, what is the topic of the lesson? Yes, you are right, the topic of the lesson is “celebrations”. What Russian holidays do you know? Today we shall be speaking about British holidays.

– Good morning, children! We’ve got some guests today. Say Good morning to them. Sit down.
– There are a lot of festivals in Great Britain and in Russia. Слайд 1
– What are your associations with the word Festival? (brainstorming)
Дети называют слова, фразы, которые ассоциируются у них со словом праздник. (Слова крепятся на доску)
– Good. I want you to remember the different festivals. Look at the screen. Слайд 2,3.
– Can you name them? Дети называют праздники по картинкам, которые видят на экране.
– New year, Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, St.Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Maslenitsa, May Day.

– Yeah! Слово «О, да» синоним слову yes. Оно используется в разговорной речи и часто в песнях. (Пояснение учителя)
