Цели урока:
образовательная: научиться применять изученный лексико-грамматический материал в устной речи;
практическая: развивать навыки и умения иноязычной речевой деятельности;
развивающие: создать условия для развития воображения, творческих способностей и умения работать в группе;
воспитательная: создать условия для повышения мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, толерантности по отношению к другим культурам.
Задачи:
Активизировать изученный лексико-грамматический материал;
Развивать умение воспринимать иноязычную речь на слух;
Развивать умения монологической и диалогической речи;
Развивать умение работать в группе;
Проконтролировать умение выражать свое мнение: согласие, несогласие, аргументировать свою точку зрения.
Используемые методы: с точки зрения гностического аспекта на уроке используется проблемный метод, направленный на мотивацию обучающихся к решению проблемы. Обучающимся предлагается выразить свое мнение. Иллюстративно – объяснительный метод – знакомство с актерами и разными жанрами кино. На уроке присутствует работа в группах, участники этих групп распределены заранее. В каждой группе присутствуют и сильные, и слабые обучающиеся. Это необходимо для того, чтобы сильные ученики выступали в роли режиссеров фильмов и помогли слабым ученикам успешно проявить себя.
Оборудование: магнитофон, аудиозапись, видеокамера, телевизор, жанры фильмов, портреты кинозвезд, карточки с текстами.
Ход урока:
Организационный момент (2 минуты): Good morning, dear gests, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. It’s time to start our work. I think you’ll agree with me if I say that cinema is a wonderful kind of art. Cinema educates people, influences our way of life, helps us to have a good time. Today we’ll talk about cinema. We begin our lesson with the song “Hollywood” by Madonna. Let’s listen to the song.
Речевая зарядка (4 минуты): I think this song helps us to begin our talking about the world of cinema empire called Hollywood.
I have some questions for you. Answer these questions, please.
What is Hollywood?
Where can you find it?
What circumstances led to establishing the first film studio in southern California?
When was the studio established?
Describe Hollywood after its function in 1960?
What is Hollywood today?
What attracts tourists there nowadays?

Now I’ll read you some characteristics of films. You must say the genre of the film.

Good! We call the film’s genres but there are some episodes of different films. You must say the film’s genre.

1.The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Count Dracula is a vampire. He drinks people’s blood. He lives in a lonely castle in the mountains of a distant country. But than he comes to England… Professor van Helsing knows about vampires, but can he stop Dracula?

5. St. Agnes’ Stand
Swanson has killed a man and is on the run from the dead man’s friends. His plans of escape are ruined by a nun called Sister St. Agnes who needs his help to save her and the group of children from the Apache Indians. This is a beautiful story about the American West.

6. Jurassic Park
It is six years since the disaster at Jurassic Park and the park is closed, the island deserted, the dinosaurs are destroyed and the scientist’s dreams are ruined. But there are rumors that that something has survived. Is the nightmare beginning again?
Jurassic Park is hugely successful film directed by Steven Spilberg.

I think you’ll agree with me if I say that each person has a preference for this or that type of films. And now we’ll show the short episode of film’s shooting.
The film is shooting now. Ekaterinburg Pictures presents “One episode of life”. Now we’ll demonstrate the shooting of that film.
Producer: Are you ready? It’s time to start now! Let’s go!
Granny: Look! Ivan Petrovich is coming home .
Son: Daddy, I’ve broken our new television set.
Dad: Oh, my God!
Producer (2): Stop, stop shooting! You need much fun and feelings! Let’s go!
Producer (3): You need much tees and grief!

Today film making industry developed rapidly and the number of genres of different films grew constantly. Each person has a preference for this or that type of films. Ex. 2, p. 182

It is a pretty good film. The story line is simple but touching.
Yes, the plot is really very simple but … don’t need to be complicated and mysterious. Usually they are naïve but we like them for it.

Oh, yes. It was really good. I like films which are full of fight and adventures.
Oh yes, you do. And this one was really stuffed with fights. I think there were too many of them.
You simply don’t like … I guess.

First of all we told about American films at the lesson. But there are many good interesting Russian films. You homework is ex. 5 p. 184. You must answer the questions: What Russian films do you like most of all? What Russian films would you advise your foreign friend?
