The objectives of our project :
to give a definition of a crime and different kinds of cases;
to describe criminal and civil cases;
to analyse kinds of cases. Civil cases Civil law involves disputes between individuals or groups and usually
results in monetary
compensation for the injured
party. A federal civil case involves
a legal dispute between two or
more parts.
Common law Civil cases are usually disputes between or among private citizens, corporations, government, government agencies and other organizations. Civil Court Cases Jury verdicts do not need to be
unanimous in civil cases.
Only ten jurors need to agree
upon a verdict if there are 12 jurors : five must agree if there are six jurors. Criminal case
A criminal case is brought by the state or by a city or county against a person or person accused of having committed a crime. Crime – is one of types of offenses.
