Урок английского языка в 6 классе
Тема: "Food and health" ("Еда и здоровье")
Цель урока: обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме "Food and health".
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: развитие навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения, письма по теме "Food and health".
Развивающие: развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, навыка языковой догадки, интеллекта, памяти, совершенствование внимания.
Воспитательные: cоздание условий для формирования ясных представлений школьника о здоровом питание; воспитание умений работать в парах, группах, самостоятельно.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
Учитель: Good morning, dear girls and boys!
Учащиеся: (все вместе) Good morning, Good morning, Good morning to you, Good morning, Good morning, We are very glad to see you!
Учитель: I am glad to see you, too! Sit down, please. How are you?
Учащиеся: We are fine, thank you. And how are you?
Учитель: I’m OK too.
II. Сообщение цели урока.
Учитель:
- Today we shall have a lesson according to our topic “Food and health” and we shall speak about tasty, healthy and useless food.
- And now let’s start our work.
III. Фонетическая зарядка. (Слайд № 1)
Учитель:
- Let’s train our tongues and practice the English sounds. Look at the screen carefully and read the words with sounds.
IV. Речевая разминка.
Учитель:
- Now, remember the words according to our topic. (Повторение лексики по слайдам) (Слайд № 2)
I like honey on my bread,I like salad and I like eggs,I drink water all day long,All these things make me strong.
- Let’s continue warming up our vocabulary. Listen to me and try to complete some sentences using necessary words. (Учитель демонстрирует правильный ответы, используя презентацию) (Слайд № 3)
Вкуснотища – Very good! Пищу называют – food.
Это вовсе не каприз, сыр мы называем – cheese.
Мясо жарится, шкварчит, мясо по-английски – meat.
Арбуз предпочитаю сливам, арбуз иначе – water-melon.
Узнали все впервые, что груша – это pear.
Масло нужно всем ребятам. Масло по-английски – butter.
Без соли борщ не лезет в рот. Соль по-английски – просто salt.
Ведро воды не принесете? Вода, водичка будет – water.
Слива тут и слива – там. Слива по-английски – plum.
Виноград мы съели весь. Виноград – иначе grape.
V. Развитие навыков устной речи по теме «Food and health».
Учитель:
- Now, look at the screen. There are a lot of pictures on the screen. These words are well – known for you.
(Слайд №4)
- Dear boys and girls, answer my questions (фронтальный опрос класса):
- Do you like milk? Do you like ice – cream? etc. Which is your favorite food?
- Open your exercise - books, please. Make a list of six things (My favorite food is …).
Учитель:
- Then write the words on your list in two columns: healthy and unhealthy food (Учитель раздает заранее подготовленные шаблоны таблицы)
- Let’s try to compare you answers.
For example: I think pizza is healthy but coke is unhealthy. (фронтальный опрос класса)
Учитель:
- Complete the table with the words from the box. (Слайд № 5)

Words: bread, butter, meat, sugar, sweets, fruit, chips, vegetables.
Учитель:
- Now, read about the food we eat and check your guesses.
- Do you eat all of the “seven important things”?
- Look at the screen and correct your answers if they are wrong . Answers: fruit and vegetables – keep your healthy, bread and sugar – give you energy, butter and meat - help you to grow and make you strong, sweets and chips – empty foods.
- Read the statements on the screen and say true or false. (Слайд № 6)
* All foods are good for you.
* Vitamins and minerals help you to keep healthy.
* Fruit and vegetables are full of sugar and fat.
* Sweets, chips and coke keep you healthy.
* You should eat a variety of foods to stay healthy and grow big and strong.
Compare the table and your list of six favourite things.
VI. Музыкальная пауза с физкультминуткой.
Учитель: Do you know any English or Russian proverbs?- The Appetite comes with eating.- Tastes – differ.- An apple a day keep the doctors away.
VII. Совершенствование навыков чтения.
Please take the cards with the text "Good Food for Good Life". Read the text. After the text there are three tasks. Look through them. Have you any questions? (Слайд 7,8) Good Food for Good Life We need good food for good life. Good food has a lot of vitamins, proteins (белки) and minerals. They are in vegetables, fruits, bread, milk, meat, fish and porridge. These things help to make your bones and teeth strong. They make your body strong and healthy. It’s important to eat enough – not too much and not too little. Too much food makes you fat. Too little food makes you weak. Tasks: I. Are these statements true (T) or false (F)? 1. We need bad food for good life. 2. We need little vitamins. 3. It’s important to eat much. 4. Minerals make your bones and teeth strong. 5. Vitamins, proteins, minerals make you healthy. II. Find English equivalent in the text to the sentences: I v: В полезной еде много витаминов, белков, минералов. II v: Эти вещества помогают сделать крепкими ваши кости и зубы.
At home your task will be try to speak about healthy and useful food use the text.
VIII. Творческое задание. Работа в группах.
Учитель:
Let’s continue our work. For today you are to make dialogs about going to the cafe and show us that you can order any food you like. But before your acting I want you to promote your cafes.
Only today! Only once a year! We are here to invite you to visit our American Smiley Hot-Dog Cafe. Tasty hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hot dogs and all kind of soft drinks. Come on. We give out samples of our food for free. You are welcome.
2. Welcome to our Belorussian cafe ''Sunny Pancake"! You see pancakes with cream and jam here. We have Draniki too. They are very tasty. Our refreshing drinks such as kvas and blueberry juice are very popular. Come on.
3. Have you ever tried a real English pudding? Have you ever tried a real English breakfast? You are welcome to our restaurant "Queen Victoria". This restaurant is known for some old traditions and different kinds of pudding. You have a wonderful opportunity to try some of them. You can also have a cup of English tea with milk, lemon or cream. You are welcome.
Примерные диалоги:
1. .-Let's taste Belorussian food.
2. -What are they offering?
1. -I see pancakes with jam and cream. And they offer Draniki and kvas.
Waiter. Good morning! Are you ready to order?
1. -Could you give us some draniki, please?
Waiter. Would you like it with sour-cream or jam?
1.- Just a little jam.
2. I'd like some cream, please.
Waiter. – Here you are
1. -Oh. it's very tasty!
2. -It's great!
Waiter.-Anything else? We can suggest you our drinks: kvas or blueberry juice.
1. -Some kvas, please. I've never tried it.
2. -Me too.
Waiter. -Here you are. Enjoy it.
1. -Oh, thank you. I like kvas.
2. -It's excellent.
(Официанты дают приглашения посетить их кафе,где их ожидает скидка).

1. -Would you like some pudding? I see it is served by English restaurant "Queen Victoria”.
2.Yes. I'd like some.
Waiter. -Good morning! Here is our menu.
1. -Oh, they have different kind of pudding.
2. -Let's try bread pudding.
Waiter. -Take some, please. Help yourself!
1. -Oh. It's finger licking good.
2. -Yes, it is delicious.
Waiter. -Let me suggest you a cup of English tea.
1. -I'd like to try it.
2. -It's tasty.
1. -I like it too, it is strong enough for me.
Waiter. – Anything else?
1. -Oh, thank you.
Waiter. – See you in our restaurant.
Группа 3
1.-Don't you mind our going to the American cafe?
2. Sure.
Waiter. – Can I help you?
1. -Yes I'd like a hamburger.
2. -I'd like a hot dog, please.
Waiter. – Here you are.
1. -My hamburger is well done.
2. -The hot dog is good too.
Waiter. – What would you like to drink? We have Coca, iced tea, lemonade.
1. -I want some iced tea, please.
Waiter. – Here you are. And you, are you ready to order anything to drink?
2. -A little Coca. please. Thank you.
1. -It's great! I'm full.
2. -Me too. I know traditional food of some countries. It's great!
IX. Рефлексия.
