She made her film debut at the age of 9 in A Village Affair (1994). She grew up in a show-business family. Knightley says that playing with doll houses may have influenced her career choice: "Doll houses were a big thing in my childhood. I was always making up stories, playing with them for hours. I guess that's why I'm an actress: I never stopped wanting to play.“In addition to acting, Knightley has worked as a model, appearing in ads for companies like Chanel. Unlike other actresses of her generation, Knightley doesn't like the nightlife. She prefers to cook for friends when she has free time. Keira Knightley (born in 1985) Charlie Chaplin was a comedic British actor who became one of the biggest stars of the 20th century's silent-film era. In his childhood Charlie Chaplin worked with a children's dance troupe before making a huge mark on the big screen. Famous for his character "The Tramp," the sweet little man with a bowler hat, mustache and cane, Charlie Chaplin was an iconic figure of the silent-film era and one of film's first superstars, elevating the industry in a way few could have ever imagined. He always said: “I want to see the return of decency and kindness. I'm just a human being who wants to see this country a real democracy.” Charlie Chaplin (1889–1977) Comic actor and writer Rowan Atkinson starred on the TV series Not the Nine O'clock News and Blackadder.He is best known for his famous role as Mr. Bean in the television series. Mr. Bean was adapted for film in 1997, and received wide success. Atkinson reprised his famous Mr. Bean character in a comedy sketch at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. He was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to Drama and to charity.He says about his main role:”Mr. Bean is essentially a child trapped in the body of a man. All cultures identify with children in a similar way, so he has this bizarre global outreach.” Rowan atkinson (born in 1955) Kate was born in Reading, Berkshire. Her parents were both stage actors. Kate Winslet says she wanted to be an actress from the age of five but because her family members were stage actors, she was not aware of the world of film. She attended Redroofs Theatre School and made her debut television performance, aged 11, dancing in front of the breakfast cereal mascot, the Honey Monster. She is the youngest person to acquire six Academy Award nominations and one of the few actresses to have won three of the four major American entertainment awards (EGOT), with her Oscar, Emmy and Grammy wins. Kate Winslet (born in 1975) Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor who rose to international stardom as Harry Potter in the series of films based on the hugely popular books by J.K. Rowling.The eight-film series spanned more than a decade of Radcliffe's life. “They've been great. For the most part I've been happy every single day. And all the times I've been unhappy, it's never been anything to do with Potter," he says about his great success. Daniel Radcliffe (born in 1989) Ralph Fiennes is a British film and stage actor best known for his performances in Schindler's List, The English Patient and the Harry Potter franchise. Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. With dreams of being a painter, Fiennes studied at the Chelsea College of Art and Design. Once he discovered acting, he transferred to and graduated from London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He joined the Royal National Theatre in 1987 and the Royal Shakespeare Company a year later. In 1991, Ralph Fiennes made his television debut in the British series A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia. His first film role followed in 1992 with Wuthering Heights. Ralph fiennes (born in 1962) Chaplin’s filmography consists of 80 motion pictures released since 1914. During his lifetime Chaplin received three awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. At the first Academy Awards ceremony, held on 16 May 1929, he won an honorary award for writing, directing, producing, and acting for The Circus (1928). But even before this film's release, Radcliffe made headlines when he was cast as the lead in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Radcliffe, in his first mature film role after Harry Potter, starred in the 2012 gothic horror thriller The Woman in Black. Radcliffe also hosted the popular comedy show Saturday Night Live. He also performs on Broadway in the play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Fiennes's big success began with the role of Nazi commandant Amon Goeth in Schindler's List (1993). His performance in the film garnered him an Academy Award nomination (best supporting actor) and a British Academy Award.
