Introduction
Pictures of kinds of Mass Media blackboard Greeting students, announcing objectives of the lesson and dividing students into 2 groups with the help of pictures of kinds of Mass Media. Students great the teacher, choose the picture and sit down on their places in groups.
Flash – training “ Smile” PC The teacher turn on the the flash-training “Smile” Students watch the slides, relax and get into the mood for study.
Warm up: Brain storming tape recorder Guess the meaning of the proverb: “Obtain the information, obtain the world” and according to the proverb name the theme of the lesson. Students discuss the meaning of the proverb in groups and exchange with their thoughts with group, name the theme of the lesson.
Association to the word “ Mass media” флипчарт таймер “Mass Media in our life” Observing and evaluating students formatively. Students makes an association working in groups. One member of the groups presents their works.
Working with new lexis book
( Ex. 1, P. 13)Teacher pronounces the new words and let students to write these words into the dictionary-books. Students read and pronounce the words with the teacher, guess the meaning of the words and write down the words.

signal cards Work in groups. Teacher gives students the text. The text is divided into 2 parts for 2 groups.
Teacher let the students raise the cards to see how they know the text.
Teacher asks students how they understand the text with the help of thick and thin questions. Every group read the text, discuss it in their groups and experts go to another group and discuss the text within.
Students raise the signal cards.

“ Magic question from the box” Stickers with questions, a little box Teacher gives to the students questions on the stickers. Questions are about all kinds of Mass media. Students one by one take 2 stickers with questions from the box. In 1-2 minutes they are able to answer these questions.

Org. moment Division into groups Greeting students, announcing objectives of the lesson and dividing students into 2 groups with the help of sweets with wishes. Students great the teacher, take one sweet with wish and sit down on their places in groups.
Checking up the home task. Teacher checks up the dialogue, preparing at home Students works in pairs.
Work with new lexis book Teacher pronounces the words with the students, then they make sentences using new lexis. Example: 1.Every teenager in Kazakhstan has an e-mail. 2. I search for the information in the Internet. For every sentence the students become one star. Students work in pairs.
Association “ Internet” Флипчарт и маркеры Teacher gives the flipcharts to the students.
For the word “Internet” the students make an association and one of the members of groups represent it. Students evaluate each other with the help « 2 stars and one wish»

Teacher gives 2 different pictures to the 2 groups. With the help of this table students make questions.

Students work in groups making thick and thin questions. Then they try to answer these questions. Students evaluate each other with the help of smiles.
10 Making and presenting posters

5 Рефлексия . Game “Hot chair”

Students make questions and ask the student who sits on the chair. The chair gets hotter if the students doesn’t know the answer. Example: 1) Are your parents worried when you work too much on computer? 2) What advantages and disadvantages can you name about the Internet? Students ask questions

Домашнее задание 1 мин write an essay about Internet ( 6-8 sentences)
talented students get a task to find in Internet an information about language using the Internet. Students write down the hometask.

Red, yellow and green stickers Teacher gives to the students texts “ Mobile phone protest” which are divided into two parts for every group.
Teacher gives the students stickers of 3 colours.
Teacher divides students into apples, oranges, bananas. Every group read the text, discuss it in their groups and experts go to another group and discuss the text within. Students are to answer the teacher′s questions.
Students raise the signal cards.
Students are sitting on the chairs. When they hear the fruit which they are, they change their place. If they hear “ Fruit salad” they all change the place.
4 Word dictate
Взаимопроверка по критериям оценивания Teacher gives 2 minutes to repeat the words. Then the teacher dictates the words. Teacher changes the works and lets students to check them. Students write the words and check up the works of each other.
