Vladislav Nikolaevich Listev. (May 10, 1956, Moscow — March 1, 1995) Soviet and Russian TV journalist and showman, the first General Director of ORT, businessman. The first author and showman of such programs as “Look", “Rush Hour", "Field of dreams". He graduated from the school named “Sports society of brothers Znamensky Spartak” in Sokolniki (candidate of master of sports in athletics). Since 1982 he worked as the editor of broadcasting to foreign countries of the Chief editorial Board of radio and television propaganda of the USSR. In 1987 he started working in the Youth edition of the Central television in one of the leading program “Look". Vladislav was the first author and the leading showman in many different programs such as "Field of dreams", "Subject" and “Rush Hour" and the Creator director of the programs "Star hour", "L-club", "Silver ball" and "music box"; in the same period he began to quarrel with his compain’s partners. Vladislav Listyev was killed on March 1, 1995 in front of their house. He was shot twice in the back and in the head. A month before he became the first General Director of ORT. Based on the fact that the unknown murderer is not connected with TV and money, the police concluded that the murder was connected with journalists’ activities. The investigation lasted more than 14 years. There were a great number of different versions of the murder of Listyev.
