T: Good morning, children!
How are you?
Who is absent?
What date is it today?
What day is it today?
What is the weather like today?
T: Today we`ll speak about inventions that change the world.
Basic stage:
Before beginning our lesson We’ll do your hometask from morning lesson.
What was the homework for today?
Our homework for today is ……..
How can I help you?
You, please.
Who else?
T: Let`s begin our lesson. Today`s theme is Step 11 The Internet.
Prepare your notebooks and write the date.
At first I`ll read the words.
New words:

Books
notebooks
T: I think it will be helpful for you. Let’s watch the video. Then you will tell me your own opinion about the video.
What about is this video?
Yes, you are riht. This video is about great inventions in the history of mankind. Look at the active board and order the events:
The Telephone (1875)
Programmable computer (1936)
Television (1884)
The automobile (1769)
The cotton gin (1794)
The camera (1814)
The steam engine (1698)
The sewing machine (1830)
The light bulb (1809)
Penicilin (1928)
In you books there is not more information about their inventing. Today we are going to have some of them. And speak about their inventing.
1.Television is a product that was invented in 1926 and has been developed over many years and it still continues to be developed. The television was one of the many great inventions in the 20th century.
2.The telephone is an important invention that simplified communication. The telephone also changed how people communicate with each other on a daily basis.
Alexander Graham Bell is famous for his invention of the telephone. On Jan. 15, 1915, Bell made his first transcontinental call from New York to San Francisco.Alexander Graham Bell invented and patented the telephone in 1876. He was 29 years old at the time.
3. Radio is important in the 21st century because it provides an opportunity for people who cannot access television and cannot read to keep up-to-date on the news and trends. When radio was first invented by Nikolai Tesla in 1893, it was primarily used to maintain contact between two or more ships at sea; today, the radio is a major source of news, weather and entertainment, and is popular because it is available to almost anyone.
4. There is no easy answer to this question due to the many different classifications of computers. The first mechanical computer, created by Charles Babbage in 1822, doesn't really resemble what most would consider a computer today. The word "computer" was first recorded as being used in 1613 and originally was used to describe a human who performed calculations or computations. The Z1 was created by German Konrad Zuse in his parents' living room between 1936 and 1938. It is considered to be the first electro-mechanical binary programmable computer, and the first really functional modern computer.
5. Johann Zahn designed the first camera in 1685. But the first photograph was clicked by Joseph Nicephore Niepce in the year 1814. It was thousands of years back that an Iraqi scientist Ibn- al- Haytham made a mention of this kind of a device in his book, Book of Optics in 1021. The earlier cameras were incapable of saving the images and were huge in size.
Do you understand the texts?
Let’s look at th new words:

T: what do you think about Chinese language?
Now, you will learn some simple words in Chinese language
无线电 wúxiàndiàn radio电脑 diànnǎo computer电视机 diànshìjī TV电话 diànhuà telephone
照相机 zhàoxiàngjī camera
T: Listening task will improve your listening skill. Listen the text and do exercises.
You know the most important inventions in the history of mankind. But I wanna know about your dream invention. Draw it and explain to others.
T: Make dialog about new inventions.
After having test , who got the high score I will give tasks for B level. Who got low score will have A level tasks. Before that, let’s read a tongue twister.

Additional information
Differentiation – how do you plan to give more support? How do you plan to challenge the more able learners? Assessment – how are you planning to check learners’ learning? Cross-curricular linksHealth and safety checkICT linksValues links
More support:
Allow thinking time.
Create mixed-ability groups for part of the discussion.
Offer differentiation by support.
More-able learners:
Summarise the group’s findings.
Encourage them to justify their opinions.
All groups
Change groups to change group dynamics if necessary.
Monitor learners as they share their experiences to check for recurring errors for future planning.
Observe learners when participating in discussion. Did the group dynamics work? Did each learner contribute to the discussion? If not, why not? (e.g. didn’t understand what to do; not so confident speaking English; not interested in topic; other)
Record what they considered they had learned from the lesson. Could they express what they had learned about content and language? Could they express which skills they had developed? Science and new technology
Reflection
Were the lesson objectives/learning objectives realistic?
What did the learners learn today?
What was the learning atmosphere like?
Did my planned differentiation work well?
Did I stick to timings? What changes did I make from my plan and why?
