PARIS In France France is in the Western Europe. The capital of France - Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. France has many historical and architectural monuments. It is popular with tourists. Paris is the capital of France, its economic and cultural center. It’s situated in the north part of central France at the bank of the river Seine. Paris is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and it is certainly the most romantic. The city is full of sights and tourist attractions, including charming architecture, numerous bridges and squares. There are more than 130 museums and 1800 historic places there Paris is divided into 20 arrondissements (districts or boroughs), each of which has a local council and a mayor, but most of the power is held by the mayor of the City of Paris who is chosen by the city's council. Paris and its suburbs together make up the eight departments of the Ile-de-France administrative region, which is governed by an elected assembly, chairman, and supervisor and overseen by a prefect appointed by the state. The River Seine divides the city into two halves, called the Left Bank and Right Bank. The right bank is on the north side, left to the south. In general the right bank claims the sophistication and modern development in Paris, while the left bank has the universities, parks and historic areas. There are two islands on the river in the middle of the city, Ile de la Cite and Ile de St. Louis. The Ile Saint Louis is surrounded by a series of quays. The Pont Saint-Louis is one of the most popular bridges of Paris as it allows people to stroll freely from the Ile de la Citй to the Ile Saint-Louis, and it boasts prime views of the two islands. The tower received its 250 millionth visitor in 2010.The tower is 324 metres tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. Its base is square, 125 metres on a side. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second. The third level observatory's upper platform is 276 m above the ground, the highest accessible to the public in the European Union Louvre Louvre - the most famous museum in the world. It was built as a fortress in 1190. The museum has many exhibits from Egypt, Greece and Rome. The Louvre is one of the world’s largest museums and the most popular one. It is housed in the former royal palace and is located in the centre of Paris on the right bank of the Seine. The museum was opened in 1793 and became one of the first museums opened for public.The Louvre is one of the oldest museums in the world. It houses various collections from all over the world. There are a lot of exhibits representing different cultures and epochs such as Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and others. There are plenty of statues, canvases and other objects of art.The entrance to the museum is free almost for everyone. It is open nearly every day.It houses a lot of world’s most famous works. So, there is the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, The raft of the Medusa by Theodore Gericault, as well as statues of the Venus de Milo and the Nike of Samothrace.  Louvre is the largest museum in Paris. Originally the building of Louvre has served as a residence for French monarchs. At present days, it is a place where thousands of art works are kept. The most famous item is the portrait of mysterious Mona Lisa. The statue of Venus de Milo Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci Arc de Triomph Arc de Triomph is located in the centre of Paris. Its construction is 50 meters in height, 45 - in length and 27-wide.  The Arch is a monument to all who fought for France, especially during the Napoleonic wars. Montmartre is a special district full of painters, actors, pantomimes, writers, poets and other creative people. Tourists can see the house of Picasso here and the square of Dalida. Sacre-Coure is the largest cathedral in France, which is situated at the highest point in Paris. People can see all of Paris from its observation post. Sacrй-Cœur is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica in Paris, France. A popular landmark, the basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Sacrй-Cœur is a double monument. The Sacrй-Cœur Basilica was designed by Paul Abadie and was finished in 1914.The basilica complex includes a garden for meditation, with a fountain. The top of the dome is open to tourists and affords a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Paris, which is mostly to the south of the basilica. The Museum Picasso is situated in the heart of historic Paris, and has a collection of several thousand works of Pablo Picasso. Picasso was born in 1881.During his life he created diverse works: painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, engraving, and even poetry. This is museum we visit today. A Beautiful new space. The area is also known for cafes and bars, such as the Breton restaurants specializing in pancakes. Montparnasse Tower is the only skyscraper in Paris and a modern glass terrace with unrestricted views across the city where visitors can see up to 40km away on a clear day from the 56th floor observation deck. One of the fastest lifts in the world, you arrive at the 56th floor in less than 40 seconds (38s) at speeds reaching 60 km/h during the climb! Disneyland The Wall of Love is a love-themed 40 square meters wall in the Jehan Rictus garden square in Montmartre, Paris, France. The wall was created in 2000 by calligraphist Frederic Baron and mural artist Claire Kito and is composed of 612 tiles of enameled lava, on which the phrase "I love you" is featured 311 times in 250 languages. Each tile is 21 by 29.7 centimeters. The red splashes on the wall symbolize parts of a broken heart. French specialties, like liquor and cheese, get a trade mark as sign of reliability. The traditional meals of Paris are mainly based on meat. Beef, veal, lam and pork are the most eaten meats of Paris. Paris is known of it’s high quality cuisine and a diversity of meal dishes.
