1.Справочные сведения о маршруте.
Цели: Создание образовательного экскурсионного маршрута, способствующего формированию духовно-нравственного развития и воспитания учащихся
Задачи: Познакомить с архитектурными особенностями посёлка. Закрепить и углубить знания, полученные на уроках истории и английского языка. Сформировать умения и навыки, позволяющие впоследствии самостоятельно знакомиться с архитектурой в целом.
Предмет и тема предмета основного образовательного курса. Английский язык: “My native town”; краеведение: история и архитектурные особенности посёлка Судиславль. Возрастная группа – учащиеся 6-9 классов. Вид туризма – пешеходный. Фактическое время прохождения маршрута группой – 1час 30 мин.

3. Экскурсия
Teacher: Imagine we have a foreign guest from Britain and you are a guide. What can you tell our guest about Sudislavl?
Pupils: There are many beautiful cities and towns in the world. I’d like to see some of them, to see with my own eyes those ones which I have read or heard about. But I completely agree with the English proverb there is no place like home because I also have a birth place and I am proud of it.
I live in Sudislavl. It is a small provincial town situated 50 km to the North- East of Kostroma. Kostroma is a typical provincial Russian town 350 km far from Moscow. Sudislavl is situated on seven hills on the river Korba. The population of Sudislavl is about 5000 people. It’s the administrative and economical centre of Sudislavl District.
Sudislavl is an ancient town. It has a long and rich history. As far as I know it was first mentioned in the chronicles of the 13th century, but I am sure it’s much older. The legend sais even the name ‘Sudislavl’ sounds very original like Yaroslavl, Pereyaslvl, Izyaslavl and as you know these towns are more than 1000 years old . The legend sais Sudislav was the name of a son of Prince Vladimir The Red Son.
The place for the town is wonderful and picturesque. Everybody enjoys the view of the hills, small rivers, green parks, white churches and cozy squares. While walking along the quiet streets you can see a lot of old buildings which were built in the 19th century. Most of them belonged to a famous merchant Ivan Tretyakov. He was very rich but generous an d presented a lot of buildings to the town. The most famous of them are the Town hospital ( the former Tretyakov Palace) with the lions on the front porch, the local museum and Music school. Our local museum is something special. It is worth visiting!
In Sudislavl there is a unique enterprise a joint - stock company Sudislavl which grows minks, nutrias, silver foxes and sables. If you want to wear a fur coat of high quality you should come to Sudislavl by all means.
There are many places where you can relax in Sudislavl. You can swim, fish and boat in our lakes which are ecologically clean. I love my home town and can’t imagine my life without its streets, squares, churches, parks and its people.

The Church of Transfiguration is situated in the centre of Sudislavl on a large hill.It was built in the 17th century. The Bell Tower [about 23m high]can be seen from any place in Sudislavl.
Many people like to go to the church on religious holidays. There are some ancient unique icons which attract people at once.You can also enjoy the wonderful sounds of a large bell every Sunday.
Sovetskaya Square
28282907366000Central square is called Sovetskaya Square. There are old buildings, a monument to Lenin in the square. There are a lot of shops and a store there. One can also find a club, a bus station and a market in the square. Our town festivals take place here. Teenagers are fond of hanging out with friends and date their sweethearts in the square.

Victory Park
Victory Park is a holy place for our people. On the 9th of May, our greatest holiday, people come to the park to honour those who died in the Great Patriotic War. The Eternal Fire is burning here. People put flowers to the Fire and remember their dead relatives. The music of war years creates a certain atmosphere and reminds of those difficult times. Victory Park is a favourite place for walking.

Lobanka Park is in fact a park of old pine trees. It is situated on a large picturesque hill. The pines grow around a wonderful lake. It is a popular place with the people of Sudislavl on ahot summer day. The air in the park is fresh and medical. In winter people enjoy skiing, skating and sledging in the park. Last year a new skating rink was made in the park.

The tourist camping «Berendeevy Polyany» is located 2km far from Sudislavl. It is on the bank of a clean lovely lake. The camping is popular not only in Sudislavl but in Moscow and St Petersburg. Tourists like to come here in summer. They have a good time in the camping. They boat, swim and fish in the lake. The camping is surrounded by woods. So tourists have a good rest gathering mushrooms and picking berries. Our camping is a nice place to spend summer holidays. It’s worth visiting.

All the exhibits which you can see here have been brought by different people. They were found not only in Sudislavl, but in different villages of our district. They are connected with the history of Sudislavl and with everyday life of its people.
4.Итоги, выводы и рекомендации.
Данную экскурсию можно проводить и для учащихся 6-9-х классов, так как изучение краеведческого материала на уроках иностранного языка «взращивает патриотизм» (В.К. Сергеев), повышает у учащихся интерес к истории, традициям своего края, расширяет их кругозор, формирует такие качества, как активность и ответственность за будущее своей родины. Кроме того, введение краеведческого материала оказывает положительное влияние на практическое владение иностранным языком: обогащается словарный запас школьника, приобретаются новые знания, развиваются речевые умения. На усмотрение учителя можно использовать более сложный фактический материал. Экскурсия преследует не столько содержательную, сколько познавательную, воспитательную, исследовательскую цель. Интрига, новизна образовательного маршрута состоит в том, чтобы продемонстрировать учащимся живую связь истории, культуры, образования, личного опыта, в одном месте города.
