The pros and cons of technological advances
We live in the age of high technology. Many people are convinced that the different gadgets are really useful and necessary, while others find them absolutely awful as they influence people bad. Now I would like to express its point of view on the problem of the growing role of scientific knowledge in the modern world.
As for me, I am pretty sure that gadgets make people`s lives easier. Firstly, it should be noted the positive aspects of scientific and technological progress. This is the development of education, the mastery of man at high speeds, the use of new types of energy, artificial materials. Secondly, devices can save a lot of time as well as storage space. For instance, a computer disk can contain the same amount of information as several thick books. Thus gadgets help people in different spheres.
Nevertheless, some people think that we increasingly dependent on technology but also the introduction of modern technology and the development of science more and more expensive. I can’t agree with this statement because I believe that knowledge update requires an employee to "mobility", which will only bring benefits to society.
To sum up, there are different points of view on this problem. In my opinion this subject is very controversial. I believe that that today's world of technology will continue to delight people will benefit greatly from the study and improvement of the conditions of the world.
