Цели:
Образовательная: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции по теме «TravellingaroundLondon»
Развивающая: развитие умения планировать речевое и неречевое поведение, развитие коммуникативной компетенции (развитие умения взаимодействовать с окружающими, выполняя разные социальные роли), развитие навыков работы с информацией, развитие смыслового чтения, осуществление регулятивных действий самооценки в процессе коммуникативной деятельности
Воспитательная: формирование мотивации изучения английского языка, воспитание интереса к иноязычной культуре, толерантного отношения к представителям других стран, национальностей
Задачи:
Развить умение прогнозирования на основе просмотра фрагмента видеоролика
Совершенствовать навыки произношения и употребления лексики по теме урока
Развить умения ознакомительного чтения
Активизировать умения диалогической речи посредством использования интерактивных технологий

Let`s travel by Double Decker Bus, it is one of the famous means of transport in London. What do you know about it? (Does it have one or two storeys? What is the color of this bus?)
This bus is a national symbol of England and United Kingdom. 
Now let’s choose a driver. Who wants to be?

From Trafalgar Square you can get any place you like in London. I wonder, what places you would like to see and what sights you’d like visit?
Look at the screen, please. Let’s read a dialogueand then try to make your own dialogues.

- The square was so named to commemorate Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
