Тема урока "КРУГОСВЕТНОЕ ПУТЕШЕСТВИЕ"
("Round-the-World Tour")
Цель урока: - повторить во всех видах речевой деятельности ранее изученные и освоить новые лексические единицы по теме «Путешествие вокруг мира»;
- совершенствовать навыки изучающего чтения, аудирования и устной речи по теме.
Задачи урока:
- расширение кругозора, пополнение знаний об англо-говорящем мире, приобщение к культуре и традициям стран изучаемого языка;
- развитие навыков и умений во всех видах речевой деятельности, совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения; тренировка в употребления лексических единиц по теме; совершенствование различных форм устно-речевого общения (монологическая, диалогическая и полилогическая речь);
- воспитание толерантности по отношению к иным языкам и культуре, привитие интереса к странам изучаемого языка

Оснащение урока: учебник, (УМК Биболетова М.З., Трубанева Н. Н. «Enjoy English-7»), презентация, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями №1 и №2, карточки-бэйджики с названиями стран), аудиозаписи, виды и флаги англо-говорящих стран, карта мира, проектор, ноутбук

Ход урока
I. Оргмомент
Warming up activity
T: Good morning, children! Are you ready? How are you?
Is anybody absent today? What's wrong with...? etc.
(Подготовить психологически учащихся к общению на уроке.
Включение детей в деятельность на личностно-значимом уровне.)
II. Введение в сюжет урока
(Обеспечить мотивацию и подготовку учащихся к активной познавательной деятельности и актуализировать опорные знания по изучаемой теме)
A). Определение темы урока (развитие догадки: с помощью взаимодействия учеников и учителя выйти на проблемный вопрос и формулирование темы и цели урока; динамичное включение учащихся в иноязычную атмосферу урока, пробуждение их интереса к теме урока.)
Постановка учебной задачи путем актуализации уже имеющихся у учеников знания по данной теме.
T:1. What date is today? - It is the ___ of December.
2. So, my friends, Christmas comes. Look at the blackboard, please, you see Santa Claus, don't you?
3. Does he like to travel? - (Yes, Santa Claus likes to travel around the world.)
4. Do you like to travel? Have you ever gone abroad? - (Yes, I like to travel very much. I have gone to.../ Unfortunately, I have never gone abroad.)
5. Would you like to travel around the world? - (Sure /of course /naturally)
T: Look at the blackboard and on the screen, please, and try to guess what the topic of our lesson is. (Отвечая на наводящие вопросы, учащиеся формулируют тему занятия (Round-the-world tour). P: Countries and continents / English-speaking countries / Round-the-World Tour (открывается тема на слайде)
T: The topic of our lesson is "Round-the-World Tour"
As for me, I dream about round-the world tour. I am sure that everybody wants to visit Great Britain or any other country. You have a chance to do it. Look at the screen. Imagine you have received this fax:
Dear boys and girls!
You have a wonderful chance to win a four-week round-the-world tour. You can see the route of the tour in our letter. If you are interested in it you should describe the countries which you can visit and say how you can travel from country to country, what kind of transport you can use for it.
Please, tell us your stories.

T: Do you want to win the prize? What should we learn and what should we revise to do it?
P: I think we should
- revise the words
- make up dialogues
- act dialogues
- tell about different countries
- learn more information about English speaking countries
- do exercises
T: So, friends, we have identified the tasks of the lesson. The aim of our lesson is to learn more information about English speaking countries. I hope you will work hard to do your best. Don't forget to put masks in your Success Card.
I’ll divide you in groups of 3 or 4 and give you envelopes with the tasks.
Take an envelope. There is the map with the route and cards with the tasks.
III. Повторение изученной лексики
1) Фонетическая зарядка
T: Let's start with the phonetic drill (упр. 4, стр.35)
2) Актуализация изученной лексики
(Повторить названия стран и столиц в игровой форме.)
T: Let's play a game "Countries and Capitals".
(Учитель по-русски называет страну, ученик, у которого карточка с названием данной страны, встает и называет ее по-английски, затем встает ученик, у которого карточка с названием столицы этой страны и называет ее).
3) Групповая работа.
(Повторить слова, обозначающие виды транспорта.)
Т: In your envelopes you can see the card № 1with the names of different transport. Match English words with their meanings.

T: Now change your card with the card of the other group and check the answers. (Далее организована взаимопроверка и оценивание задания учащимися).
4). T: Look at the map, please. What countries are we going to visit?
P: We are going to visit the UK, Canada, the USA, then Australia and New Zealand. After that we will come back to the UK.
T: Now you should say how we can get from country to country according to our route.
Ps: 1. I think we’ll go from Great Britain to Canada by plane or by ship. So we will fly or sail.
2. I think we’ll go from Canada to the USA by car, by train or by plane. So we will drive a car, or go by train or fly.
3.I think we’ll go from the USA to Australia by ship or by plane. So we will sail or fly.
4.I think we’ll go from Australia to New Zealand by plane or by ship. So we will fly or sail.
5. I think we’ll go from New Zealand to Great Britain by plane. So we will fly.
IV. Чтение.
Организация групповой работы (работа с текстом упр. 40, стр.31)
(совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения, с последующим пересказом текста по заданному плану)
1). Т: Now, friends, you will work in groups. I want you to choose the country and find the text about this country in ex. 31, page 40.

2). Тренировочное задание с новыми ЛЕ.
(ознакомить с новыми ЛЕ, подготовить уч-ся к чтению текстов)

V. Монологическая речь (выстроенный по предложенному плану пересказ текста)
(Монологические высказывания по ситуации "Мы совершаем кругосветное путешествие. Сейчас мы в Великобритании (Канаде, США, Австралии, Новой Зеландии). Расскажите о своей стране")
T: Let's imagine the situation - we are making "Round-the-World Tour". At the moment we are in the UK and you are the hosts of this country. Tell us about your country. Use the plan.

VI. Музыкальная пауза.
T: Let’s have a rest. Let's sing a song about friendship "THE MORE WE GET TOGETHER"
(Песня на английском языке о дружбе "THE MORE WE GET TOGETHER" используется для снятия усталости, а так же как средство эстетического и музыкального воспитания)
VII. Диалогическая и полилогическая речь. (Проверка домашнего здания.
Уч-ся рассказывают выученные дома диалоги и полилог).
T: Now we are in Great Britain again. Imagine the situation:

VIII. Фронтальная беседа - обсуждениe.
(Обсуждение темы "Почему важно знать английский язык ")
Т: What language will be spoken at the international conference (to communicate with each other)?
P: The English language will be spoken at the international conference.
T: Why will the English language be spoken at the international conference?
P: 1). English will be spoken at the international conference because the participants of it have come from different countries.
2). English will be spoken at the international conference because it is often used at international conferences and seminars.
3). English will be spoken at the international conference because at the moment English is internationally recognized by the world community as one of the languages more often spoken by people in various parts of the world.
T: Why do you think so?
P: I think so because English
- is the language of doctors and scientists
- is the language of pilots and ship's captains
- is the language of computer science and business
- is the language because of politicians and international journalists
- is the language of rock and pop music
T: And what about you? What are the reasons why you study English?
P: I study English because
- I need it for my future education
- my parents want me to study this foreign language
- I want to read books in the original
- it is useful for travelling
- I want to watch TV programmers on the BBC Channel
- I want to communicate with people when I am abroad
- I want to understand songs in English
- learning English is interesting and exiting
