Everything that surrounds us today, all that we know and can do, it is their achievement. Who are they? It is popularly believed that the extraordinary work and the greatest discoveries of famous scientists contribute to the progress of mankind. They are Pythagoras, Archimedes, and Euclid. I would like to explain my point of view on it.
It seems to me that we cannot imagine the development of technical progress without the outstanding people of the past. Ancient world renowned for its famous philosophers. They have tried to define the essence of being human to interpret the thoughts and actions, to think about the nature of the problems.
On the one hand, this was the famous scientist Pythagoras. This is a brilliant scientist of antiquity, who made many discoveries enjoyed mathematics. Theorem on the sum of the squares of the legs of equality to the square of the hypotenuse, the division of numbers into even and odd, measurement of geometric shapes with respect to the plane of all these discoveries of Pythagoras. On the other hand, Aristotle also took an active part in society. This man had an amazing curiosity and was incredibly smart. Besides, he has written dozens of books on almost all branches of modern science: physics, metaphysics, meteorology and even zoology. Therefore, his contribution is invaluable large.
To sum up, it should be said that many people of antiquity and modernity have a positive impact on the development of technical progress.
