The relevance of the chosen theme due to the fact that today the SMS system plays an important role in our lives and it allows studying the role of short messages in our life.
The purpose of this work is to determine the role played by SMS in human life and all of its possible advantages and disadvantages
Objectives: To determine the role of short message in our lives; consider all possible abbreviations used in SMS; explore the features of the manner of communication teens by SMS; determine the impact of the English language in writing sms.

Every year, the language as a means of communication is constantly changing.




With the advent of mobile phone communication has become much more accessible and easier. However, the appearance of these compact devices has its negative sides.

The new generation of phones provides many useful functions, but the most important and necessary tool of communication is Short Message Service «SMS». this method of communication is the most popular method among adolescents.

Today the language of SMS - is an integral part of language culture. SMS-chat is well established in the teens’ lives; modern youth appropriated SMS as part of its culture.

An SMS-message - is a convenient and fast form of communication that is used to establish contact. However, we must distinguish between the actual verbal communication and e-mail.
