WINTERУчитель ГБОУ СОШ № 843Семина И.Ю. There are three months in winter: December, January, February.In winter the sun sets early & rises late. The days are short & the nights are long. The rivers & lakes are frozen over. The surface of pavements, roads & paths are often slippery. The trees, roofs & ground are covered with snow. It often snows & it`s cold outside. People have to wear warm coats, fir- coats, hats, mittens, boots if they don`t want to catch a cold. It`s sometimes rather frosty, about 15 – 20 degrees below zero. Going out in such weather is not very pleasant but the nature is beautiful. The snow sparkles like millions of brilliants under the shining sun. The sky is blue & everything around is clean. Winter is a good time for skating, skiing, tobogganing & playing snowballs. It`s also a hockey season.All children are fond of making a snowman
