Lots of different countries have its own national animal as the symbol of the state and we must know and honor the traditions of other people
The animals as the symbols Most countries have become national symbols of fauna. The fact that in ancient times, numerous settlements had their own animal totems and now we can see them as national animals. For instance, the national animal of Scotland is actually a fictitious creature – The unicorn! The national symbol of Australia is Kangaroo The kangaroo is a recognizable symbol of Australia. Kangaroos have also been featured on coins, most notably the five kangaroos on the Australian one dollar coin.
According to the legend, this animal was first seen by the expedition of captain Cook who discovered the continent.
