Project WorkEnvironment“Books in our life” Aims: - to increase of interest of pupils in reading books not only in Russian but also in English;- students will learn to Express thoughts in English;- students will acquire study skills, learn how to work with reference books and dictionaries.- to increase the number of students visiting library The relevance of the project : The book is a key source of information, a huge bundle of energy and a source of human enjoyment. The book we are acquainted with foreign countries, talk about habits, qualities of others. Thanks to them, we expand our knowledge, better understand people, learn a lot of new, interesting. Hypothesis : do we need to read books of modern teenager or to get information from other sources, using modern information technology. Practical significance : Our project will help a student to understand the role and place of books in life. Learn to Express thoughts in English. A book is a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated or blank sheets, made of paper, parchment or other various material, usually fastened together to hinge at one size. Books in our life Nowadays it's almost impossible to imagine our life without books. Perhaps, there are more books on our planet than men alive. The first person to print book in the English language was William Caxton, in Russia – Ivan Fedorov . About Book Genres Realistic Fiction Realistic fiction should take place in the present time period. The story should be one that COULD really happen in today's world. Fantasy A fantasy book is any story that contains magic. If it can't happen in the real world, then it is magical and the story is fantasy! About Book Genres Horror Horror stories are written to be disturbing, shocking, and scary. If you like stories that give you nightmares, horror is what you're looking for! Mystery Mystery stories are all about gathering clues and solving puzzles. Can you solve the mystery before the character in the book does? About Book Genres Action/Adventure Action/Adventure stories are known for their fast-paced plots and suspenseful twists. These stories almost Romance Romance books are stories about LOVE. These stories often tell the story of how two people met and fell in love with each other. I enjoy English and American literature. It helps me to know more about other countries, historical past of these countries, the life of their people, their customs and traditions, the beauty of nature and human feelings. As an old saying goes, man cannot live on bread alone. Books are the source of knowledge and the means of self perfection. Sometimes it is difficult to solve some problems in life.
