Graham Greene(1904-1991)
Graham Greene In 2005, it was chosen by TIME magazine as one of the hundred best English-language novels since 1923. The title is an allusion to the doxology often recited at the end of the Lord's Prayer: "For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen." This novel has also been published in the U.S. under the name The Labyrinthine Ways.
Dame Iris Murdock(1919-1999)
Under the Net was the first novel of Iris Murdoch, published in 1954. Set in London, it is the story of a struggling young writer, Jake Donaghue.
