Wonders of the WorldVarious lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled over the ages to catalogue the most spectacular man-made constructions and natural things in the world.
Seven Wonders of the Ancient WorldThe Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the first known list of the most remarkable man-made creations of classical antiquity. The number seven was chosen because the Greeks believed it to be the representation of perfection and plenty.

Great Pyramid of GizaThe Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza and is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.It is believed the pyramid was built around 2540 BC and was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
Hanging Gardens of BabylonThe Hanging Gardens of Babylon, also known as the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis are considered to be one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. They were built by the Chaldean king Nebuchadnezzar II around 600 BC.

ColosseumThe Colosseum or Roman Coliseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire.It is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering.Its construction started between 70 and 72 AD and was completed in 80 AD.The Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.

PetraPetra is an archaeological site in the Arabah, Ma'an Governorate, Jordan, lying on the slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah, the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It is renowned for its rock cut architecture.
Christ the Redeemer Christ the Redeemer is a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; considered the largest art deco statue in the world. The statue is 39.6 metres tall, including its 9.5 metre pedestal, and 30 metres wide. It weighs 635 tons, and is located at the peak of the 700 metres Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city.

It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, which is 80 kilometres northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows.
