Today we’ll speak about the main English – speaking countries and find out what native people think about them.

3.Фонетическая разминка. -But first of all, let’s start with pronunciation. Look at the blackboard. Here you can see our proverbs. Let’s read and translate. I’ll read and you’ll repeat after me and then you should find translation (приложение 1)

4.Речевая разминка. - Let’s go on. Now look on the screen. Here you can see two columns. Your task is to find pairs of words that have similar meanings and read them.

- Good, open your copy-books and books on page 40. You guessed the meaning of the following word combinations and tried to predict which English-speaking countries we can refer to them.

- Now let’s read what the English – speaking people think about their countries. You’ll read one of the stories and check if you were right.
- So, let’s continue. And now open your books at page 42, Ex.32.
Read the names of the capitals of English-speaking countries. Find the information from Ex.31, p40-41. Fill in the gaps.
