Урок 53. Предлоги направления.
Цели урока: 1. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи.
2. Активизация речевого оборота It takes ... в устной речи.
3. Закрепление лексических навыков по теме «Дорога в школу».
Оборудование: Предлоги направления.
Ход урокаОрганизационный момент Good morning, children! Good morning now. Wake, body, wake, mind! Work, play, seek, find, Eat breakfast, dinner too, Wash, brush, sing, dance, and do! Good morning now.
Today we shall learn to explain the way and find out how long it takes you to get to different places.
2. Фонетическая разминка At the beginning of our lesson we shall remember some English sounds and learn to read some words. Open your textbooks, page 66, exercise 20. Listen to the words and read them aloud. Work in pairs and read the words to each other.

4. Закрепление предлогов места и лексики по теме «Дорога в школу» в устной речи
The next task for you is exercise 19, page 66 from your textbooks. Work in groups of three and explain to your partners how to get to the City of London School. Finish your work, please. Who will be the first to speak today?

третий ученик — he/she is at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
5.Проверка домашнего задания
It's time to check up your homework. You have a minute to remember your dialogues in pairs. Your time is up. You will go to the blackboard one by one and act your dialogues. Let's read the situations from exercise 21, page 66. Read them to yourself and dramatize the dialogue.
6. Физкультминутка проводится кем-либо из учеников по желанию.

7.Активизация речевого оборота It takes me... в устной речи
— I'd like you to remember the word combination "It takes me ..." and make up the sentences with it. Read the task of exercise 23, page 67.1 hope you have a good sense of humour. Who is ready to start?
How long does it take you to wash up in the evening?
How long does it take your mother to cook dinner?
How long does it take you to wake up in the morning?
How long does it take your brother to play his favourite computer game? Etc.
8. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи
— Every day we go to the different places: to the shop, to the library, to the stadium, to school, etc. It is interesting to find out how long it takes you to get to different places. You will ask your friends and fill in the table.

It brings us to the end. Thank you for your work. I hope our talk about good and bad habits will be interesting and useful for you. We have few minutes to remember a poem.
