Тема урока «Эволюция. Цивилизация. Прогресс. Экология».
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Цель урока: Систематизировать и закрепить материал по теме.
Задачи:
Речевая компетенция: развивать навыки диалогической и монологической речи, произносительные навыки, навыки аудирования.
Языковая компетенция: активизировать употребление в речи знакомых и новых лексических единиц по теме «Цивилизация и прогресс», грамматический материал: условные предложения.
Социокультурная компетенция: познакомить c великими учеными мира и их открытиями и изобретениями.
Компенсаторная компетенция: развивать языковые догадки и воображение, творческое мышление, память.
Учебно-познавательная компетенция: развивать умение выделять основную информацию из прослушанного и увиденного в рамках темы «Цивилизация и прогресс», строить целостные высказывания, вступать в контакт, излагать мысли в письменной форме.
Познавательный аспект: продолжить изучение и расширение знаний и умений по теме «Цивилизация и прогресс».
Развивающий аспект: развивать психические функции, связанных с речевой деятельностью (внимание, способность к анализу и синтезу, логическое мышление, способность к выявлению языковых закономерностей, языковая догадка, зрительная и слуховая память, фонематический слух).
Учебный аспект: овладевать основными видами речевой деятельности: говорением, аудированием, чтением и письмом.
Воспитательный аспект: повышать интерес к изучению английского языка; развивать настойчивость и умение преодолевать трудности для достижения намеченной цели; активизировать познавательную инициативу обучающихся и формировать их коммуникативную компетентность для подготовки к сдаче ЕГЭ.
Языковой материал: речевые образцы по теме «Цивилизация и прогресс», грамматический материал (пассивный залог, условные предложения).
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, презентация, плакат.
раздаточный материал к уроку, учебник.
Технологии: коммуникативного обучения иноязычной культуре, проблемного обучения, личностно-ориентированного обучения, проектной методики.

P1: Evolution is a natural process of development. It concerns mostly biological species.
P2: Civilization is a society with its developed culture and institutions (army, art, science, health care, education and others).
P3: Progress is a development in different spheres of life.
Ученики составляют синквейн (на ассоциациях): к слову подбирают 2 прилагательных, 3 глагола, 1 предложение (свое отношение ) и 1синоним.
Ученики перечисляют открытия и изобретения, называют имена великих ученых.
P1: I can’t do without my computer because….
P2: Personally, I can’t imagine my life without my mobile phone. I need it very often because….Etc.
Ребята высказывают свое мнение о положительных и отрицательных сторонах прогресса:
P1: On the one hand, progress makes our life more comfortable, convenient, easier. On the other hand, it may cause catastrophic consequences such as serious diseases, natural disasters.
P2: To my mind, technical progress can bring a lot of good for us. But it also may be destructive if people do not use the inventions properly. Etc.

A.: In the poster you can see the forest on fire, a polluted river, chimneys throwing waste into the air, hurt animals, heaps of rubbish. Hundreds years ago people didn’t behave like this. They were not aware of many things, were afraid of God, natural disasters, floods, droughts, diseases. It seems to me, they lived in harmony with nature. But nowadays even schoolchildren know physical and chemical laws. Thanks to the progress, we’ve got used to comfort, different gadgets. Food and other things are always available and packed. Packaging (foil, plastic) is very harmful for nature. I’m sure that something must be done to stop it.

Затем они приклеивают их к доске и получается большая красивая ромашка.
Уч-ся смотрят продолжение видеоклипа, где происходит восстановление Земли, т.е. все заканчивается хорошо.
