Игры шотландских горцев.
Цель: создать ситуацию общения для ознакомления учащихся 6 классов с национальными традициями страны изучаемого языка .
Задачи:
Создать условия для повышения уровня мотивации обучающихся в изучении английского языка.
Создать условия для формирования социокультурной компетенции через использование страноведческой информации на английском языке.
3. Создать условия для воспитания у обучающихся толерантности, уважительного отношения к культуре другого народа

воздушные шарики
кегли
платки для завязывания глаз
рисунки продуктов
рисунки тартанов
Ход праздника:
I.Приветствие, введение в атмосферу праздника:
1-ый ведущий: Good morning everybody!
Today is a great day!
2-ой ведущий: Today we are having Scottish Highland Games!
And two clans will compete today
Clans, come in please.
( Звучит волынка, входят дети и рассаживаются за столы)
1-ый ведущий: What a happy day today
Boys and girls are very gay
They like sport
Run, jump and play
What a happy day today
Let’s go to the «Scottish games»
Have you ever been to Scotland?
Clans : No, we have never been to Scotland.
2-ой ведущий: Scotland is a part of Great Britain
The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh.
We are going to travel to Scotland.

1-ый ведущий: Today you are not students,
You are the Scottish families,
The members of clans.
2-ой ведущий: Two clans will compete today: the Mac Roses and the
Mac Andrews. and the Old men (our judgers) will help us to
find out which clan is the strongest.
(Представление старейший (судей))
1-ый ведущий: Our clans have their names, mottoes, tartans and rules.
2-ой ведущий Please , the MaсAndrews, come here.
(Выходит первый клан и представляет себя.)

2-ой ведущий: It’s time for the second clan .

·ый ведущий : The Scots have an ancient custom « shaking hands». It’s came
from times of wars, when warriors took off their steel gloves to
show they were not going to fight.
2-ой ведущий: Our competition will be peaceful and funny, so let’s shake hands
with each other.
(Звучит волынка, члены кланов пожимают друг другу руки)
1-ый ведущий: And now let’s train a bit before our games.
(Выходит первый клан и показывает свою разминку. Звучит песня «One little finger»)
1-ый ведущий: Well done, and now the Mac Roses.
(Выходит 2 клан и показывает свою разминку. Звучит песня «Head and shoulders»)
1 ведущий : Our old man will tell us some words.
2-ой ведущий: To win the competition you must be very attentive. Let’s check
how attentive our clans are.
So, look at the picture. Your task is to write down as many wards
As you can. Clans, take your pens start, please.
(На экране появляется картинка по теме: «Living together» звучит волынка и ребята записывают как можно больше слов по этой теме, сдают карточки ведущему)
2-ой ведущий : So, the heads of the clans will read (sound) their words.
( Представители кланов по очереди озвучивают написанные слова, жюри подводит итог.)

1-ый ведущий: Scotland is a very beautiful country but what is special for it is
Loch
·Ness Monster or Nessy.
(На экране появляется изображение Несси , звучит песня «Hello, hello» в зал входит Несcи ,дети поют вместе с Несси).
Nessy: What’s this? What are you all doing here?
2-ой ведущий: Hello, Nessy! We are glad to see you. We are having Scottish
Highland Games. Let’s play with us!
Nessy: OK. But I’m hungry and angry.
1-ый ведущий: Nо problem, we’ll feed you up.
( Звучит песня «Are you hungry?». Несси поет вместе с детьми, инсценируя разговор.)
Nessy: Well, now I am full and strong,. Go on with your games, please.
(На экране изображения шотландских игр).
1-ый ведущий: Life in Scotland wasn’t easy in ancient times, that’s why such
kind of sport as putting the weight (поднятие тяжестей) is very
popular during the games in our time.
Now you must put a balloon on your finger and go with it to
that chair , then come back. Don’t through it.
(Состязание на поднятие тяжести проходит в виде эстафеты. На пальце вытянутой руке нужно донести воздушный шар до финиша. Разрешается его подбрасывать, но если шар падает, игрок возвращается на исходную позицию).
Несси также принимает участие в этом соревновании. Она потешает ребят своей неловкостью - подкидывает шарик всеми частями тела, шар постоянно падает )
1-ый ведущий: Our judges will tell us the score!
2-ой ведущий: As you know , the emblem of Scotland is the thistle. And why?
Do you now ?
The legend says : more than thousand years ago the enemies
decided to attack the Scots. It was night ,everybody was
sleeping. The enemies took off their shoes and were just near
the castle when one of them stepped on the thistle. He cried from
pain. The Scots woke up and won the fight. That’s why the
thistle is the emblem of Scotland in our time.
1-ый ведущий : Can you go on the grass with the thistle in at night?
(Проводится игра «The thistle». В состязании принимают участия по три игра от каждого клана. Они занимают места на старте и видят , что короткий путь до финиша «усеян» кустами «чертополоха» (их роль выполняют конусы) )
«Воины» стараются запомнить расположение «кустов», затем им завязывают глаза. Рядом идет «страхующий», который указывает путь на английском языке. Команды произносят рифмовку :
Clans : «Thistle , thistle in the grass ,
Thistle, thistle don’t prick us! »
(Игрокам необходимо дойти до цели, не наступая на «чертополох».
Побеждает та команда , которая не сбила ни одного конуса).
2-ой ведущий: The Scots like such kind of competition as «Tag of war»-
Перетягивание каната.
So our «Tag of war» will be unusual. On the screen you see
different word combinations, sort them into 2 groups, please.
Begin!
Clans: Дети делят словосочетания на 2 группы по двум темам:
«Животные в нашей жизни»
«Живем вместе»
2-ой ведущий: Our old man will tell us some words.
Nessy: Oh , I see you are very clever, friendly, and funny. And the last task for you! I want to know what you have learned about my country and Highland Games today. Look at the screen and show me the right answers!
(Презентация по итогу праздника, звучит волынка, дети работают в группах)
После показа очередного слайда ребята поднимают необходимую карточку (A,B,C,D)
(Нэсси прощается, звучит песня «See you later». Дети поют вместе с Несси)
Teacher: «So girls and boys did you like our games ? Have you got a lot of new in formation. I hope you and our guests have got a lot of fun today .Now the jury will share their opinions and tell us the results.
(Жюри делятся впечатлениями и подводит итоги. Затем вручают каждому клану сертификат участника «Игр шотландских горцев»)
1-ый ведущий: And now let’s sing an old Scottish song «My Bonny is over the ocean».
(Оба клана и ведущие праздника исполняют песню. На экране презентация этой песни).
