Aim of the lesson:
• To enrich pupils knowledge about the weekend, to express their opinions
• to extend pupils’ speaking skills through giving instructions to create an atmosphere of self and mutual respect and social interaction through group and pair works

Children today we have unusual and interesting lesson, because there are some guests. They just would like to see how you know English, and so I`m sure that you are clever and an active girls and boys.
So lets begin our lesson.
I want to divide you into groups. There some pictures of clothers, lets think how can we divide into groups
1st group “tennis”
2nd group “football”
Checking up hometask. Play a game ”cross and zero”
asks pupils to say what was their home task for today, then checks it up by asking one pupil from each group, write the past simple of the verbs:
Be - was/were - been
Go - went - gone
Do - did - done
Write - wrote - written
Take - took - taken
Buy - bought - bought
Eat - ate - eaten

Thin and thick questions

2. What did you do?
I stayed at home, I didnt do anything
Note: The form of the past tense question is always did………. have………..?

To play football, to watch TV, to travel, to do homework, to play computer games, listen to music, to read the books, to go to the Zoo, to visit friends, to swim.
Read the conversation
Pupils read the conversation and think about their answers to the task, translate into their native language. Check answers orally. St. B p. 38 Ex. 2
Catch the fish
To show them the pictures of fish, they must catch the fish with questions, they must answer to them, if their answer is right they may put it in bucket.
