Presentation. T shows  the photos of cosmonauts and  flying  saucers  and  rockets.
L  should  find name of the  cosmonauts  and  your  opinion about  “Do you  believe  in  flying saucers?”
Project  work: Learners  find  out and write one of the planets in our  solar  system.  
Language: new  words: air, bright, burn, dead, dust, gas, ice, life, meteor, night, rock, sun,  tail, twinkle.
Jigsaw activities: L should  puzzle the sentences and read them.
Grammar  game: L should revise  comparative  and  superlative  adjectives.
Learners  work alone and answer  the  questionnaire. They then compare with a partner. It doesn’t  matter if they are unsure about  the answers  at  this stage as the recording  provides the answers  in the  next exercises.   EVALUATE
