Цель урока: обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме "Food".
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: закрепление лексических единиц, развитие навыков чтения и понимания прочитанного по теме "Food "; отработка произносительных навыков, расширение знаний о культуре Великобритании.
Развивающие: развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, навыка языковой догадки, интеллекта, памяти, совершенствование внимания.
Воспитательные: содействовать активному взаимодействию детей друг с другом, приобщить к культуре изучаемого языка.
Тип урока: Урок закрепления знаний.

Организационный момент.
Good afternoon boys and girls! I`m glad to see you . Sit down, please.
Сообщение цели урока.
- Today we shall have a lesson according to our topic “Food” and we shall speak about tasty, healthy and useless food and also about English breakfast and tea.
- And now let’s start our work.
Фонетическая зарядка.
I like honey on my bread, I like salad, I like eggs. I drink water all day long. All these things make me strong.
1. I want you to look at the blackboard and listen to the rhyme. 2. What is the poem about? (обучающиеся переводят стих) 3. Will you repeat the rhyme after me? 8. Will you repeat the rhyme with me? 9. Will you read the poem on your own? (обучающиеся читают хором, затем индивидуально)

- Of course, It’s breakfast. When you get up you need receive a lot of vitamins and minerals to feel good during the day. There are good English and Russian proverbs on this issue. Look at the screen and read English equivalent then Russian one.
Breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a pauper.( Завтрак съешь сам, обед раздели с другом, ужин отдай врагу.)
- Children, what does your breakfast consist of? Do you eat healthy food for breakfast or not? Name kinds of food you shouldn’t eat for breakfast.
- What do you think English people have for breakfast?
- Let’s read a text about English breakfast. (Сereal with milk, toast with butter and marmalade, croissant, boiled and scrambled eggs, fruit salad, eggs with bacon and tomato, tea, coffee, juice.)
ENGLISH BREAKFAST
The traditional English breakfast is a full meal. Some people begin their breakfast with cereal. They eat it with cold or warm milk. Then they have a plate of bacon and eggs, tomatoes, sausages and beans. Then they have a toast with butter and marmalade and some fruit or some juice.
They drink tea or coffee in the morning.
Many English people now take such a full breakfast only on Sunday morning. Most people have a sandwich or a light snack for lunch.
Now let’s read and speak about traditional English tea. It’s not a secret that English people like it. So the task is: (А теперь давайте поговорим об английской традиции чаепития. Не секрет, что англичане любят пить чай. Итак, задание:

TRADITION ENGLISH TEA
English people like tea. It is the British national drink. 196 million of people drink it in Great Britain every day.
“Tea-time” or “five-o’clock-tea” is the afternoon meal of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, sweets and tea between lunch and dinner.
English people like to have tea at home and at work. They have “a tea-break” at 11 o’clock in the morning and at 5o’clock in the afternoon. When at home, they invite their friends to a tea-party just to chat. When children come to see their friends they usually have tea too. After they have tea children have a lot of fun together. They sometime play games or sing songs.

c) English people drink tea at work and at home.
d) They have “a tea-break” at 9o’clock in the morning and at 6o’clock in the afternoon.
e) They invite their friends for breakfast.

It’s very important for us to have good manners at table. Look at the poster “GOOD MANNERS”. Let’s read it together and put the sentences in the right column of the table.
