Цель: в ходе индивидуальной и групповой работы активизировать и закрепить лексический и грамматический материал по теме.

Ход урока
Организационный момент.
Good morning! Sit down, please! How are you today? What date is it today? What day is it today? What’s the weather like today?
Сообщение темы урока.
Now look at the screen and listen to the proverbs: (1 слайд)

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.
MY HOME IS MY CASTLE.
- Translate them all. What is the topic of our lesson?

- Children, look at the screen, please! You can see two pictures. Your task is to find the differences between these pictures. Don’t forget to use the construction “there is/there are” and prepositions of place. (4 слайд)
Основная часть.
- Look at the sheets of paper, please. Find the text ‘My bedroom’. Let’s read it and answer the questions. Well done!
- What is Home for you? Let’s make up a cinquain.
One noun in the first line, two adjectives in the second line, three verbs in the third line, your opinion in the fourth line and a synonym in the fifth line. Let’s do it!

My bedroom

What’s your bedroom like? My bedroom is great! It’s very big and there is a lot of furniture in it. Everything is blue in my bedroom and I call it the blue room. I’ve got a small bed, a desk, a chair, a wardrobe and a bookcase. The bed is in front of the wardrobe. My desk is under the window. There’s a big poster behind my bed. There is a computer and a lamp on my desk and I’ve got books in the bookcase next to my desk. I haven’t got a TV but I’ve got a CD player. I like my bedroom very much!
