Цели:
Повышение интереса к изучению английского языка
Тренировка употребления изучаемого лексико-грамматического материала
Развитие языковых, познавательных способностей, ценностных ориентаций, чувств и эмоций школьников, готовность к коммуникации
Задачи:
Активизировать использование лексико-грамматических навыков и умений в речи
Совершенствовать навыки аудированияРазвивать умение реагировать на беседу

В роли королевы может выступать ученица старших классов:
Dear friends, good afternoon. I’m happy to meet you. You look so marvelous today. I’m the Queen of England. My name is Elizabeth. Welcome to a Christmas Party. Thank you for your coming to my palace.
Проведение конкурсной программы
Конкурс 1:
Do you know how to behave yourselves at the Queen’s Party? Do you know any poems about Politeness?
-Учащиеся: Yes, sure / Yes, certainly
Let us try to be PoliteIn everything we doRemember always say “Please”,
And don’t forget “Thank you”.
Hearts like doors will open with easeTo every little keys
And don’t forget that they are these
“We thank you all” and “If you please”
-Queen: Good, boys and girls. Well done. I hope you’ll be polite at our party. I wish you Merry Christmas. Let’s sing a song.

Queen: I believe you’re not only merry children, but clever as well. I’d like you to decorate this Christmas tree. Write the names of the toys, fruit and animals on the back side of colorful bells and pin them on the Christmas tree. Two minutes for you to do this task. Ready?... lovely! Our Christmas tree looks wonderful with these bells.

Queen: Very well, thank you. Are you tired?

Queen: My dear friends, before receiving you, guests from Russia, I visited one country… You’ll find out its name if you guess this rebus. I know Russian a little. Where did I come from?

Queen: Today I have got a photo of a very strange man. There is a question on it: “Try to guess how old I am”. This name is John. Count. На экране фото (голова с цифрами). John’s 25 years old(1,8,4,1,5,2,3,1)
По своему желанию учитель может варьировать содержанием конкурсов, предложив им сыграть сценки из известных детских сказок (“Telephone Ring”) или инсценировать забавное стихотворение.

Подведение итогов.
Queen: My dear friends. Our party comes to its end. While the jury is counting the results, we all sing one more song “The More We Are Together”. And I invite you to have a cup of tea with tasty things. В конце праздника Королева дарит ребятам подарки.
