Цель:
Развитие мотивационной сферы детей;
приобретение навыков самостоятельной работы;
приобретение знаний об обычаях, традициях страны изучаемого языка;
развитие мышления и языковой культуры;
создание благоприятного психологического климата;
воспитание толерантного отношения и познавательного интереса к культуре других стран, к образу жизни людей разных стран;
воспитание культуры общения и потребности в практическом использовании языка
Оборудование:  мультимедийная презентация, компьютер, секундомер, карточки с заданиями
Ход урока
1. Орг. момент.
2. Вводная беседа (урок, правила игры).
3. Брейн ринг.
Правила: Играют 2 команды, равные по силам. Играем несколько раундов. На обдумывание ответа – 2 минуты. Команды отвечают по очереди. Если команда не знает ответ, то ее оппоненты имеют возможность получить балл.

Our game is called “Do you know the GB?” because we will compete in the best knowledge.
