Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку для 4 классов
"Learning English is fun"
Цель: повышение интереса к английскому языку и стране изучаемого языка.
Задачи:
Развивать языковые, интеллектуальные и творческие способности учащихся.
Закрепить речевые образцы, грамматические структуры, лексику.
Воспитывать чувства товарищества, коллективизма, взаимопомощи и ответственности.
Оборудование: Доска, листы бумаги, карточки с буквами (для определения названия команд), карточки с рифмующимися словами (2 экз.), карточки с заданиями.
Форма: соревнование.
Ход соревнования
Организационный момент: Good morning boys and girls. Today we are going to have a little fun. You will see that learning English is very interesting and fun. We’ll have a competition so let’s form two teams.
Task 1: Now let’s find names for your teams. (Командам раздаются карточки с буквами, из которых учащиеся могут составить слова: joy, fun).
Task 2: Find rhyme words. Найти рифму к словам из первого столбика в словах из второго столбика:

doll fly frog play
bee boy clock run
my bag sun we
tag ball see dog
toy tree day sock
song rose tea game
nose long name sea
Task 3: “The Chain” (Цепочка)
Write the chain of the words. The last letter is the first letter of the next word. (f.e. rabbit-tiger-read …). Team, that will have the longest chain get ship. You have 5 minutes.
Task 4: “Riddles” Listen to descriptions and guess, what animal is it?
It is a small animal. It likes fish. (a cat)
It is orange. It is not big. It can run. It is very cunning. (a fox)
This animal lives at home or in the street. It is a man’s friend. (a dog)
It is green. It can swim and run. It can’t climb and jump. (a crocodile)
It big and strong. It’s grey. It likes to help his friends. It lives in Africa.(an elephant)
It’s clever. It can jump and climb. It lives in a tree. It’s very funny. (a monkey)
It lives in Africa. It has got four legs and a long neck. It can run well. It likes to eat green leaves. It’s a funny beautiful animal. You can see it in the zoo.(a giraffe)
It lives in Australia. It has got a long tail and strong legs. It can jump well. It likes to eat grass and leaves. It’s a nice funny animal. (a kangaroo)
Task 5: “Sentences”
Команды получают карточки со словами. Необходимо составить и записать правильные предложения.

Task 6: How many colours do you know?
I see you are ready. How many colours do you know? (учитель читает рифмы, которые ученики дополняют по-английски)
1.Очень чёрный негр Джек. 2. Я тону! Иду ко дну!
Чёрный по-английски – black Синий цвет – конечно – blue
3. Коричневое платье купила эта фрау. 4. Он неспелый мандарин.
Мы знаем очень точно: Он зелёный – значит green
коричневое – brown
5. Мышонок серый, убегай быстрей! 6. Уверен, ты запомнишь:
Цвет «серый» по-английски – grey Оранжевый цвет – orange
7. Розовые розы падают на ринг. 8. Для стирки я купила «Тайд».
Цвет красивый розовый Костюм стал чистым, белым – white
по-английски – pink
9. Облизнувшись, кошка съела 10. У меня сомнений нет:
Желток жёлтый. Жёлтый – yellow Красный цвет – конечно – red
Task 7. Colour flowers.
We’ve got two flowers. They cannot bloom. Let’s help them and colour them. (учащимся предлагается раскрасить цветы соответственно написанным на лепестках цветам)
