                       “We must protect our environment”.
Цель урока: вывести учащихся на творческий уровень владения устной речью на основе подготовительных и продуктивных упражнений по чтению и говорению.
Задачи:
Учебные:
Продолжить формировать и совершенствовать лексические и грамматические навыки и умения делать вывод, обобщать, выделять проблемы, способствовать выработке умений формировать устные неподготовленные сообщения с опорой на источник информации и совершенствовать умение составлять план устного сообщения.
Развивающие:
Развивать умение систематизировать знания, память, логику изложения в устной речи, делать умозаключения, формирование навыков компетентности, взаимодействия и сотрудничества.
Воспитательные:
Формировать сознание необходимости беречь природу, заботиться о ней; прививать познавательный интерес и развивать желание творческой деятельности.
Вид занятия:
Урок- практикум по чтению, лексике, грамматике и говорению.
Тип занятия:
Совершенствование полученных ЗУН и применение полученных знаний в новых условиях.
Методы обучения:
По степени самостоятельности мышления учащихся: ретро продуктивные и продуктивные; по степени управления учебной деятельности: под управлением учителя, самостоятельная работа.
Материально - дидактическое оснащение:
Учебник, компьютер, экран, карточки.
 
Ход урока:
1.      Организационный момент. (1min)
     Today in our lesson we are going to read and to speak about the global warming which is caused by greenhouse effect.
2.      Warm-up (3min)

    А.Environmental protection is the main problem facing humanity nowadays. The image of sick planet has become firmly established in the public mind lately. Ten years ago   word “ecology” hardly meant anything for the majority of people, but today we can hardly bear it in mind.  It has happened because of the growing effect of the rapid industrial development of the natural world which has negative features of its own. As a matter of fact the state of the environment has greatly worsened of late.
      B.  There is no doubt that soil; water and air are contaminated with toxic     wastes. Over the past few years we have been constantly speaking about ozone holes, droughts, high level of radiation, about food contaminated with chemicals.
    С. Scientists are very much concerned about drastic changes in weather patterns. The worst drought, the mildest winter and the most devastating hurricanes have become typical in those parts of the world where they used to be a rare occurrence. Weather patterns have been changing recently due to the global warming-up process and its major reason –the greenhouse effect.
   D.  The greenhouse effect is created by carbon dioxide emissions, released by industrial facilities and constantly increasing a number of cars. Thus it is of vital importance that the world should start cutting down the release of gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect. As a result there is the deterioration of the environment which tells on people. They are paying for this with their health. All people need a healthy environment.
   E.  To solve this burning problem it is necessary for people to combine efforts, to raise safety standards at all industrial facilities, to adequately process by- products of industry and set up an international center for emergency environmental assistance.

Global warming or global cooling?
