Цель урока: закреплять учебный материал по теме: «Животные в нашей жизни»
Задачи:
активизировать и закреплять изученную лексику по теме: « Животные в нашей жизни»
совершенствовать речевые умения и навыки
развивать основные виды речевой деятельности (аудирование, говорение, письмо, чтение)
развивать языковую догадку
развивать интеграцию с предметами научно-естественного цикла (биология, зоология)
развивать интерес к иностранному языку и желание говорить на нём
отрабатывать правильное употребление простого неопределённого времени
воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах
Ход урока
1. Greeting.Good morning, dear children! I’m glad to see you! I hope you are feeling well today! Let’s begin our lesson!
2. Brainstorming.
Do you like animals? What animals do you know? Have you got animals at home? So can you guess what the theme of our lesson is?
Have you ever been to the Zoo?

-Can animals be our friends?
3. Aims of the lesson.
You are right; the theme of our lesson is «Animals in our life».
4. Now listen to the riddles about animals.
This animal lives in the forest. It is neither big nor small. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox and wolf. This animal runs very fast. (Слайд 3)
This animal is very big. It is grey and sometimes white. It has a very long nose. It lives in India and Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass. (Слайд 4)
This animal lives at home or in the street. It’s a man’s friend. It is very clever and friendly.
This animal lives in the river or near the water. It is green. It can jump and swim, but it can neither run nor climb. (Слайд 3)
This animal is red. It likes hens, cocks, hares, and ducks. It lives in the forest. (Слайд 5)
This animal can be black, grey, white or red. It lives in the house. It can catch a grey mouse. It likes meat, fish, and milk. It can run, jump, climb, walk. (Слайд 6)
5. Listen to the text about coalas and underline the correct words

There are two types of animals.
We know wild animals. They are those that live in the woods, jungles and in the fields. They are: foxes, tigers, wolves, elephants, hares and so on.
And there are animals that live near the people. They are called domestic animals. And some of them even help people. Horses, bulls, dogs help people a lot. Domestic animals are cows, cats, sheep and so on.
Many years ago when there were no cars and trucks people used horses and bulls working in the fields. Dogs are our great friends but they also guard our houses and they are used in the army and by the police. Cats catch mice and rats. As for other domestic animals they are also very useful. Hens, ducks, geese, turkeys give meat and eggs. Cows and goats give milk.
