План-конспект внеклассного мероприятия Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Цели мероприятия:
а) социокультурный аспект: ознакомить учащихся с обычаями и традициями, связанными с празднованием Нового года и Рождества в стране изучаемого языка, песнями, играми, загадками, стихотворениями на английском языке по данной теме;

б) развивающий аспект: развивать творческую фантазию и инициативу в осуществление иноязычной речевой деятельности, а также развивать познавательные интересы учащихся, способности к языковой догадке, непроизвольной и произвольной памяти;
в) воспитательный аспект: воспитывать интерес и положительное отношение и умение внимательно слушать, формировать чувство ответственности за выполнение части коллективной работы;
г) учебный аспект: совершенствовать лексико-грамматические навыки учащихся по теме: «Праздники Великобритании», навыки монологической и диалогической речи, расширить знания учащихся о традициях страны изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: плакаты и карточки с заданиями к играм, рисунки, стенды на новогоднюю тему, елка и игрушки, костюмы для Санта Клауса, снеговиков, снежинок, героев сказки «Золушка», ведьмы, аудиоприложение с записью мелодий и песен, новогодние открытки, мешок с подарками, поощрительные призы.

Ход мероприятия
Начинается праздник с танца «Зимняя сказка» под музыку D.Glover “It is you”

B1: - Christmas and New Year are the most favorite holidays of English children. People in Britain celebrate Christmas on the 25 of December- a week before the New Year. And today we are going to show you how children in England celebrate these holidays.
B2: -Рождество и Новый Год – самые любимые праздники английских детей. Люди в Британии отмечают Рождество 25 декабря- за неделю до Нового Года. И сегодня мы покажем вам как отмечают эти праздники в Британии. Дети заранее начинают готовится к праздникам: всем Своим родственникам и друзьям они посылают рождественские открытки (Christmas cards) с пожеланием веселого Рождества и счастливого Нового года.
B1:В каждом доме ставиться ёлка (Christmas tree or New Year tree), которая украшается красивыми игрушками огоньками, делаются праздничные композиции со свечами и рождественские веночки. Предполагают, что первые неукрашенные Рождественские елки появились в Германии в VIII веке. Первое упоминание о ели связанно с монахом святым Бонифацием. Бонифаций читал друидам проповедь о Рождестве. Чтобы убедить идолопоклонников что дуб не является священным и не прикосновенным деревом, он срубил один из дубов. Когда срубленный дуб падал, он повалил на своем пути все деревья, кроме молодой ели. Бонифацей представил выживание ели как чудо и воскликнул “Да будет это дерево деревом Христа”.
В XVII веке Рождественская ёлка уже была распространенным атрибутом Рождества в скандинавских странах.
В2:- Первые Рождественские ёлки были украшены живыми цветами и фруктами. Позже были добавлены сладости, орехи и другая еда. Затем – рождественские свечи.
Такой груз был безусловно слишком тяжёл для дерева. Чтобы заменить фрукты и другие тяжёлые украшения, немецкие стеклодувы начали производить полые стеклянные ёлочные игрушки, которые до сих пор являются самыми популярными украшениями для ёлки.
Как правило, все рождественские декорации убирают 6 января. Говорят, что держать их дольше – плохая примета. Ну, а сейчас встречайте наших елочек!

В2: - Children, we have a New Year tree too! Let`s decorate it!
В1: - На сцену приглашаются желающие. Ребята, ваша задача- украсить елку, но перед этим вы должны вытащить игрушку из мешка, сказать на английском что это и какого цвета, и только после этого повесить игрушку на елку. Итак, приступаем к украшению нашей елки.
(дети украшают елку под музыку)
В2: - Дети в Англии разучивают песни и поют их у елки.
В1: - А что? Ребята, а давайте и мы с вамиспоем гимн Рождества и Нового года “Jingle Bells”, нона наш лад.
Опять блестит снежок
У елок на ветвях,
И мы с тобой опять
Катаемся в санях.
Сугробы по краям
Мелькают все быстрей,
Все громче бубенцы звенят,

В1: - The beginning of a new year is a time for celebrating and for making a new start. On New Year`s Eve many people go to parties with their families, neighbours and friends. In London people gather to celebrate in Trafalgar Square. From there they can hear Big Ben, the large clock at the Houses of Parliament.
В2: - When Big Ban strikes, people all hug and kiss each other and shout "Happy New Year". But young people go out and meet their friends at parties, discos and different clubs. But little children are waiting for Santa Claus. They believe that while they are sleeping he comes to visit them. He is a kind old man in red clothes with a big sack of toys. He put sweets and small toys in the children`s stockings.
В1: - Some people ignore it completely and go to bed at usual time. Others, however, do celebrate it in one way or another. The most common type of celebration is a New Year party.
There is a funny tradition connected with the New Year: the 1st Foot. This is the 1st visitor to enter a house on NY`s morning. He is a person of great importance. The 1st Foot must be a man because it is believed that if a woman 1st sets foot in the house, bad luck will follow throughout the year. Traditionally, the 1st visitor of the year must carry food, drink and coal into the house. Coal helps to make a fire in midwinter and there shall never be lack of food and drink during the coming year.
В2: - Больше всего дети ждут прихода Деда Мороза или Санта Клауса. Это добрый, веселый старичок в красной одежде большим мешков подарков. Их он кладет в носочки, которые дети вешают у своих кроваток или каминов в канун рождества.
Но что это? Я слышу не звон бубенчиков упряжки Санта Клауса, а злое завывание ветра…
В1: -Кто же это может быть? Ээээй, кто здесь?
Witch: - Aha-ha-ha! Look at them! Such silly boys and girls! Are you waiting for Santa Claus? He will not come! I`ve put a spell on him in my castle! Ha-ha-ha!
В2: - Смотрите, кто к нам пожаловал! Это же самая злая и могущественная колдунья в Англии!
Witch: - Yes, my name is Winnie-the-Witch! And I want to disturb your holiday!

В1: - Ах ты старая и злая ведьма! Хочешь помешать нашему празднику? Не бывать этому! Так ведь, дети? Мы должны расколдовать Санта Клауса.
Witch: - OK! I see you want to help your Santa. Then you will have to guess my puzzles!
В2: -Дети, давайте поможем расколдовать Санта Клауса и разгадаем ведьмины загадки!
Witch: - OK! Now listen to me!
What do snowmen eat for breakfast? (Snowflakes)
I come with cold and snow

B1: OK, Santa. Children , look at this picture. You can see Santa but without nose. You have a chance to pin the nose on Santa. It is not easy because you cannot see. You`ll have a scarf on your eyes.

B2: - In England and in the USA during the holiday carolers go from house to house in the evening. They ring hand bells and sing carols, Christmas songs. People give the carolers pies, nuts, fruit or a little money.

Авторов музыки и слов песни установить не представляется возможным, но, считается, что эта песня известна в Англии с 16в. Как все колядки, песня исполнялась с целью получения рождественского угощения от зажиточных членов общины.
