Беседа учащихся с учеником в роли библиотекаря (активный метод обучения, субъектно-субъектные отношения, повышающие мотивацию к высказыванию);
Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия. Выставление и комментирование оценок.
Домашнее задание: написать письмо английскому другу о том, какое место занимает чтение в вашей жизни, о своем любимом авторе, книге.

Организационный момент.
Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Today we’ll speak about our reading habits, about the importance of reading, kinds of books, libraries and of course about famous writers and their works.
Some people think as more and more people have televisions in their homes, fewer and fewer people will buy books and newspapers. Why read an article in the newspaper, when the TV news can bring you the information in a few minutes and with pictures. Why read a novel, when a play on television can tell you the same story with colour, picture and action.
So, look at the screen and read what famous people have said about books and reading, translate the phrases into Russian and explain the way you understand them.

Do you know that the wordlibrary comes from the Latin word ‘liber’, meaning ‘book’. This is a place where information in print and in other forms is collected. Libraries can be found in many places. There are libraries in small towns and large cities and there are libraries at schools, universities, colleges. People go to the library to read, look, listen, and search, relax, discuss, learn and think. And I’d like to tell you about the largest and the best known libraries in the world.

1.СтруктураДжотТотс (JotThoughts).
Let’s rememberthe words about reading. On your tables you have cards. Each of you has to take four cards and to write down four words, which associate with the word “Reading” (for example: pleasure, detective story, books and so on.) Now, let’s start.
2. Структура Tick-Tack-Toе (крестики-нолики).
Partner number 2 Collect the cards and laid in three rows. Then you build 3 sentencec with this words. Ученики берут карточки с этими словами (всего 9) и, используя структуру Tick-Tack-Toe, составляют предложения на тему «Чтение». Записывают предложения в тетради.
3.Continious – Round – Robin(учащиеся по очереди зачитывают предложения более одного круга и исправляют друг друга). Начинает ученик под номером 2.
