The theme of the lesson Music in your life.
Aims To speak about music and to discuss the arts in monologues and dialogues. To develop students’ logical thinking, creative abilities and vocabulary. To teach children to understand the different kinds of music. To bring up the interest to the various styles of music.
Focus Reading, speaking, writing, listening in English Language Teaching.
Teaching results Students can speak about different kinds of music and respect and admire the people of art. They can speak about their favourite music, musician, singer, composer and our national instruments musical instruments.
Main ideas Music keeps us happy! Music is a part of our lives. Music helps us to live.

Make an association of the word “Music”. What kind of music do you know?

Group A ” Musical instruments”.
Group B “Composers”.
Group C ”Types of Music”. Work in three groups.
Answer the questions. Use the topical vocabulary.
What types of music do you know? What role does music play in your life? What is your favourite musical instrument? Can you play it? Student’s book.

An apple- tree is the knowledge .Fruit is the students and their position on the tree.
