Мета:
повторити вивчений граматичний та лексичний матеріал, удосконалити навички аудіювання, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення.
розширити філологічний кругозір студентів, вдосконалити навички говоріння;
розвинути готовності учнів до іншомовного спілкування;
формувати в учнів уявлення про типи сімей.
Тип уроку: комбінований
Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, аудіозапис.

Прийом: розповідь про різні типи сімей.
T.: At firs let’s make some exercises for our tongues. Today we are going to work out a sound ᶞ. Put your tongue between your teeth and say it.

T.: Now we are going to read some tongue twisters which you got on sheets of paper. Repeat it after me.

T.: The world is full of people. Some things about us the same while all the things can be very different. But we are all wonderful.
Some people are short and thin, and some people are tall and fat! Our eyes can be many beautiful shades of blue, green or brown. And hair is another story! It can be blonde, brown, red, black, grey or white.
Our families can be quite different as well. Some are large, some are small. But all of them are special!
Today we are going to speak about different types of families. But let’s check our hometask first.

A small family
Anna is eight years old and she is from Brazil. “There are four people in my family: my father, my mother, my brother and me. I am from a community. A community is a place where many families live and work together. The community has got 200 houses and one school with about 100 students.”
An only child
Lucy is from the USA. She is ten years old. “I have a very small family. I’ve got a mom and a dad, but I haven’t got any brothers or sisters. I am an only child, but I have lots of cousins I can play with!”
A big family
Amfana is seven years old and he is from Africa. He’s got a big family, with a mother, a father, grandfather and lots of brothers and sisters. He’s got a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins, too. In his village, all the women are called ‘mother’, all the men are called ‘father’ and all the children are called ‘brother’ or ‘sister’. Amfana has a very big family!
