«Welcome,Welcome,  Spring!»
Characters: Children, Jane, Sun, Rain, Seeds, Snowdrop, Violet, Daffodil, Butterfly, Birds.
(На  сцене  дети. Слышится  пение  птиц.)First Child: What does it mean when the blackbird  comes,
                    And builds its nest, singing  sweet  and dear?
                   When violets peep though the blades of grass?
                   These are the song that spring is here.
Second Child: This is the season   when the snowdrop flowers,
                        When nobody likes  to stay indoors.
Third Child: This is the season   when birds make their nest,
                      This is the season   we like best.
All the Children: Spring is coming,
                             Spring is coming,
                             Flowers are coming too,
                             Snowdrops, lilies, daffodils
                              Now are coming too.
(На  сцену выходит девочка.)
   Jane: Good morning, children!
     Children : Good morning, good morning to you!
                        Good morning, good morning , we glad to see you.
           Jane: What a nice day!
                      It is a day!
                      I’m happy and merry,
                      I sing again Second Child
                      Because today
                      It is spring again.
I want to play pretty flowers in my garden. Children, what must I do?
             First Child: Dig the ground.
            Second Child: Rake around.
            Third Child: Sow the seeds.
    All the Children: And  you  will gather flowers.
                    Jane: Thank you, children.
                              It’s good to be back on the soil again,
                              Out  in the garden to work again.
                              It’s good to plant and sow again,
                              To  dig and to rake and to work all day.
( Девочка берёт лопату и делает вид , что копает землю)
                     Jane: I dig and dig with my   spade.
( Кладёт лопату и берёт грабли. )I rake with my rake. Now   I’ll  sow my seeds.
 (Выводит  несколько  ребят. Это «семена». Она  «сажает»  их:  кладёт руки  им  на плечи, и  дети  приседают.)                  Children: A little sun, a little rain,
                                    And lovely flowers are here again.
( Появляется «солнце». Оно обходит вокруг «семян».)                          Sun: I make the ground warm.
( «Солнце становится недалеко от «семян». На сцене появляется ещё один играющий – «дождь». Он бегает вокруг «семян».)                         Rain: Pitter-patter, pit-pat, I make the ground wet.
                  Children: Rain, rain, April rain,
                                   You are feeding seeds and grain,
                                    You are raising plants and crops
                                    With tour brightly sparkling drops.
                           Rain: Pitter-patter, pit-pat
                                       Listen  to the rain!
                                      Pitter-patter, pit-pat
                                        Raining  again.
( Дети делают вид, что они прячутся от дождя, но одна девочка не боится дождя; выходит на середину круга с открытым зонтиком. )                                Girl:  Rain on the grass,
                                          And rain on the tree;
                                            Rain on the house top
                                            But not upon me!
                            Children: Rain, rain go way.
                                             Come again another day.
                                             Little children want to play.
( «Дождь» убегает. «Семена» начинают  «расти» и поднимаются.)                                     Seeds: We are pushing up-up-up through the ground.
                            Snowdrop: I come first. I have a white dress. I am very  pretty. My    name is   Snowdrop.
                                Violet: And I come next. I like  warm days. My dress is violet. I am a Violet.
                             Daffodil: I come next. I am yellow. I like the sun. I like to dance the wind. My name is Daffodil.
( Джейн входит с «цветами» хоровод.  )
                                 Jane:  I like flowers that are bright,
                                            I like flowers that are white.
(  Среди « цветов»  появляется  «бабочка» )
                           Children:  Flutter, flutter, butterfly,
                                              All among the flowers,
                                              Flutter, flutter, butterfly,
                                               Through the sunny hours.(Прилетают «птицы»)
                              Birds: Flowers here,
                                             Flowers there,
                                             Flowers in blossom
                                             Everywhere.                           Children: Birds are in the tree tops
                                              Flying here and there,
                                             Everything in the blossom
                                              Everywhere.                                             Flowers are in the garden,
                                             Butterflies are there
                                             Flying round the blossoms,
                                             Spring is everywhere.
                               Jane:   A lot of spring flowers,
                                           And sunny warm weather,
                                           And singing and dancing –
                                           All come together.
                           Violet:   Come, flowers, let us dance,
                                           Let us dance and sing,
                                           As we go around
                                           In a merry ring.(Дети, «цветы», «птицы» поют и танцуют.)
                        Children:   In the merry month of  May                                            All the flowers are so gay.
                                           They all play and sing and say.
                  Flowers, Birds: Winter days are far away,
                                              Winter days are far away,
                                             Welcome, welcome, merry May.
                                   Jane: Let us dance and let us play
                                              On this happy, sunny day!
                                             Spring has come, the sun is bright,
                                            The flowers bloom red, pink and white.
(Все участники поют и танцуют под мелодию «Пусть всегда будет солнце». )                All the children: May the always be sunshine,
                                             May the always be blue sky,
                                             May the always be Mummy,
                                             May the always be Me!
